  I used Stuart's services to put my family and I in our first home in Livermore and again in our second home in southern California. Stuart was able to expedite our loan sooner than possible which was not easy for him and put a lot of stress on him. At the time, we really needed it, and Stuart and his team worked tirelessly to get it done. And locked us in at the lowest possible rate!   Our real state agent introduced Stuart Davis to us. First day that we talked to him we got the sense that we will work with him to the end. I should have asked if he had teaching experience in the past because he is so good at it. He explained us all aspects of the loan process days and days, hours and hours. Who does that?! He shared his “magic spreadsheet” with us and itemized all the costs. It helped us a lot to have a complete view of our budgeting especially when we wanted to come up with a final offer amount. He told us that city transfer tax cost could be significant (especially in Alameda county). We didn’t know that since we had moved from different county. Nothing in terms of costs surprised us during the process. I think that is the benefit of having a local loan agent. He is well experienced and a great loan officer, especially in the bay area and Alameda county. We purchased our home in hot market and were worried about the appraisal. He helped us to come up with a contingency plan so we knew exactly how much we need to pay in case it does appraise at $x. At the end the appraisal came out at the value. In terms of interest rate he gave us a good rate comparing to hot market. We closed the escrow in 19 days! Who can do that!? Long story short, if you are looking for mortgage you should call him. No doubt!

  On the third anniversary of buying my home, I’m delighted to review Stuart, who helped me so very much to be here. Not only would I recommend Stuart to others, I already have to a good friend who happily used Stuart, and to my daughter who had a great experience (how much more can I say I recommend Stuart than that?). I returned to Stuart for my home loan three summers ago because I had so much trust in his abilities in my move from a downtown Oakland condo to a single family home in San Leandro. He sat down with me, spent time going over finances to determine both what I could afford and the best rates for my home loan, then followed up with a sterling pre-qualifying letter. Stuart made the process as painless as possible, which is not easy when it comes to home loans, especially in this market. Any time I had a question, no matter how small, he responded quickly and clearly knew what he was talking about. Stuart was aware of what was coming up in the market and how we had to adjust timelines to be sure I got the best outcome. On top of his expertise, Stuart was able to talk about the neighborhood I was moving to, which was a great help and very reassuring. I had a wonderful experience and continue to love my home and neighborhood. .
