  AVOID! Shady lending practices. I applied and closed an RV loan through Straight financing and was told by CEO Matt Mxxxxn that I was "required" to sign up for additional 3rd party products through him, like GAP Coverage and Tire and Wheel Protection, even though by law, additional products can't be used as leverage to get a discounted rate, he insisted we needed them. He did state that we could get a full refund if we cancelled within 30 days. I went to cancel with the 3rd party within the 30 day window only to be told that Straight Financing never even sent over my information to them yet. I.E., they collected the fees from us but never signed us up for the "products". After many phone calls, Straight Financing final sent our money over to the other vendor and they quickly processed our refund to send back. Unfortunately the refund had to be sent back to Straight financing first, who would then issue the refund to me. Now over 5 months later I still have not received my refund and Matt will not return calls or emails and has become completely unresponsive.

  I wish I could give this company negative stars. The "owner" and I'm assuming his wife are the only two people you can ever talk to and only when they answer. They took my, over $50,000, boat loan and never sent it to marina. On top of that got a letter last week never paid the gap insurance or wheel and tire either. Glad I paid the extra $1300 for those coverages. If anyone continues to use this company they need to be helped because here I sit responsible for a large loan that they stole every last dime and havent heard from them since July.

  SCAM!!! I would give Straight Financing and Matt Mixon a ZERO if I could. My son applied for a loan through Straight Financing in mid July to purchase a boat from a private seller. He signed loan docs on July 22nd. Matt Mixon received money from the bank on August 1st and my son still has not received his check. Now he is paying on a loan and has no boat. The seller has a boat and no money and cannot try to sell the boat as the bank holds the title. Matt and his office manager Kim never return calls and the emails he sends are continual lies and excuses. We have filed complaints with the BBB, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and now the Attorney General of TX. We have also reached out to CBS New in Fort Worth and are waiting for a response.

  This company is scamming people! They collect for tax title licensing but have yet to receive anything after 7 months! They don’t answer or return emails. They collect for gap insurance but you don’t actually get it! If anyone is interested and knows of an attorney in that area we could all go in together. Please leave attorney info here and everyone who’s dealt with this company can contact them. We have contacted the police department in that area to open a case against them. Thank you!

  Cannot get them to return my calls or my emails. At this point they have $4,500 that belong to me for titling fees. I guess I'm going to have to file a lawsuit against them to answer me. I would be happy to change this review if they would just take care of this item. However, I am at a loss and not what sure what else to do but to file lawsuit.

  They don't deserve one star, they should be in jail. Had loan approved this summer, these crooks received the money and didn't pass it on to me for my boat loan. Hope they enjoyed spending the money.

  Run far from this place. They are horrible. They don’t do what they’re supposed to. Once they Finalize the loan they will never speak to you again.They gave me the loan and in the same month they sold the loan and never forwarded the correct paperwork to the new servicer and held up Registering my boat for months. Even after repeated calls and emails it took months to rectify this because nobody did anything or answered my calls or emails.

  Richard, Matthew, and the team at Straight Financing were incredible from beginning to end. If you’re looking to finance a boat, motorcycle, RV, or any recreational vehicle, I suggest you contact Straight Financing before making your decision.

  don't know were to begin, no answer, no customer service, no return email for 2 weeks. i am a dealer and i tell my customers i have a financing source, and when i send application i expect some verdict within a reasonable amount of time. or i lose business. with i have already. not dependable at all
