  I've been familiar with Stephens for over 20 yrs but never needed their services. I'm pretty mechanically handy. My brother-in-law purchased a truck from them and was very happy with the product. I have a BMW 328i that needed a new battery, the battery registered with the car's computer and the brake fluid changed. The cost to install and register just the battery at the dealer was around $600. I got the battery, registration and brake fluid change for less than that price. Their service department is way more sophisticated than I thought. Not just a place to get an oil change although they do that too. I'll be using them for all my mechanical needs from now on.

  We purchased a 2005 Volvo for our son's first car from Jeff at Stephens Automotive. We liked that this is a family owned business. Debbie greeted us the moment we arrived. We felt no pressure to buy. Everything was explained to us and they even told our son that if he ever had any questions to call or drop by and they would be glad to help him! We would definitely purchase from them again.

  We purchased a used vehicle from Stephens Automotive and we were thrilled with how low pressure their staff was. And how willing they were to meet our needs and listen to our concerns. We have been very happy with our car purchase thus far and would definitely return to their dealership if and when we need another car.

  Went in to look at a truck they just got in. This place always seems to have gently used trucks with great mileage. Found out that the truck I had my eye on was previously a fleet vehicle for a major agriculture company and was brought in from Oregon. That was great, as it means no rust from the salt we use during our Iowa winters. Jeff helped me out and was a pleasure to work with. We came out with a great truck for a great price. Later that night I found a small issue, so I called jeff back the next morning. They quickly fixed the issue, no questions and no hoops that I had to jump through. Would highly recommend choosing Stephen's and will be going back in the future.

  Straightforward and customer friendly. Jeff called for updates on the repair job and when it was finished. Purchased my car from here and use it for repairs. They do good work!

  A little delayed in posting my review...had my truck towed to Stephens Automotive last month for what I thought would be a simple fix. I got a call within hours from Jeff advising that there was more to be done than what I initially thought. He was so good at explaining the different things that needed to be repaired/replaced and answering my questions. I took a deep breath and gave my approval for the work to be completed. Less than 48 hours later I got the phone call that my truck was done - I went to pickup my truck and had a few more questions. Debbi and Jeff were great in answering what I needed to know. Debbi even had visual aids to help me out too. I recommend Stephens Automotive to everyone I know!!! They were great!! Thank you so much!

  Don't see how anyone could write a negative review given the buying experience I had. I have bought many cars & trucks over the years. Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He was willing to work on price and was transparent. We got a fair trade and the Lincoln Nav we wanted. Will do business again down the road. Highly recommend.

  Since I have been bringing my cars to Stevens for scheduled maintenance I have not had any major auto problems. My Lexus is closing in n 175,000 miles and our Caravan is closing in on 135,000. These folks fix what needs fixing and don't try to sell you on fixing things that aren't broke. I trust them with both my vehicles.

  I have used Stephens Automotive to service all our vehicles since it opened for business. I find Jim, Jeff and Debbie, and the entire staff to be very capable, friendly and honest. I feel comfortable with the repair work they determine needs to be done to my cars, and they get the work done on time and on budget. I have recommended them to others for years and have always gotten back the same response. A top notch family owned business.

  I had my best experience at stephens. Jeff was extremely nice and very professional. He not only helped me get approved, I got my dream car. Every other dealership didn't even try to help me get approved, but Jeff went out of his way to help me. I was honest up front with him about my situation. I highly recommend stephens automotive. :)
