  If you are reading this, CONGRATULATIONS! Your search for a mortgage broker is complete. Jonathan Starr is everything you could want in a mortgage broker. He is attentive, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and hardworking. Jonathan is easy to get a hold of and quickly responds to your emails/voicemails. It is very easy to talk to Jonathan over the phone. You will feel as if you are talking to an old friend. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with Jonathan. It will make the whole mortgage process easier on yourself. Jonathan helped me and my wife close on our first home in Bergen County, NJ. He will do the same for you. Good luck!

  We worked with Jonathon on 2 different occasions. Once on a refinance and the second time to secure a mortgage.He is the best of the best. He made the process so simple. We only met with him once.   5 Stars for John Starr. Had a great experience working with him. Originally I was working with him on a loan which I couldn't get a conventional mortgage on, he worked with me to find multiple banks that would be able to provide a loan. I ended up going with another property however and continued to work with Jon. He found a good bank and everything from paperwork to the closing went smooth. Would highly recommend !

  New Review for 2021: We returned to Starr Mortgage for our refinance, since Jon was great to work with on our home purchase in Central New York. Years later, we can still say the same. He’s dependable, straight-forward and easy to work with. Jon was available and answered any questions we had along each step of the process. He was always accurate in his statements, and worked along all our concerns and requirements. We’re very happy with the refinance. Thank you again Jon! Original Review from 2018: My husband and I became self-employed full-time two years ago, and because of that change we had handful of disappointments while searching for a mortgage lender. Then we found Jon through his website alone. He worked to get us qualified for a conventional mortgage where others said no before we’d even get started. His pre-approval was the first we received, and with our offer accepted, he did everything required to turn the pre-approval into the yes we needed. We just closed at the beginning of this week, and are so excited to own our first home. Jon was available, efficient, professional and helpful throughout the entire multi-month process. If everyone worked in a manner like Jon, the world would run much more smoothly. Thanks again Jon!
