  Mike Bowers at Southwest Funding is the go-to guy if you are a first time home buyer especially! He makes working with him a breeze and is always very responsive and informative while helping you navigate the mortgage process. Not many lenders are willing to give second chances and work with you if you have less than perfect credit but Mike will take care of you with a 580+ credit score/2 years of job history, I promise you won't be disappointed!

  Horrible experience. This lender had no clue. My closing was postponed 3 different times. I would continually ask if they needed more information from me and was told no, only to get a message that something else was needed and it would postpone closing. This fiasco placed additional costs on both me and the seller. The real estate brokers involved were pulling their hair out. Never will I deal with them again

  I apologize for your experience and thank you for your feedback. Based on your review and experience, our borrowers now receive their "Documents Needed" list through an automated email system immediately upon initial loan approval from the Underwriter. The borrower then receives daily emails with their needs list of outstanding documents needed to complete the loan process. The borrower can securely upload directly from their mobile device or computer, to complete their loan processing and know exactly where they stand throughout the process. Also, all parties receive an automated email update when loan Milestones are met. Hope you've enjoyed your new home
