  This is the second time I tried to walk in and sign up with them. First they gave me a hard time because I didn’t have any mail in my name, all I had was my lease cause I just moved into the apartment. I went in today and tried to sign up and he told me to sign up online because they have two appointments coming in soon and they would give me a call once they got free. That’s not gonna work though because I have stuff to do. I never heard of a bank doing stuff like this. I’ll just find another bank .

  Worst service ever. Please hire people that know what they are doing. They always say what they can't do that the last person has done. Don't let them tell you anything. Ask to speak to someone at a different location if they can't do what they are supposed to do. Watch how quick they all of the sudden remember how to do it.

  Lack of professional, efficient and dedicated employees at this so called credit union, due to a refinance that was taking 2+ months I went with a different lender. On top of inadequate customer service, weird account numbers, negative comments from other banking and credit card institutions and even my direct deposit for work checks being delayed I suggest stay away. I have moved my mortgage and home equity line. Next will be checking, savings and car loan. STAY AWAY. It has not even been 1-year of doing business with this institution and I regret it.

  ***(see Update)*** Definitely NOT the exception. This branch seems to be the worst of them all. Sharonview federal credit union does not believe in customer service. Their customer appreciation day looks more like they were cleaning out the pantry, getting rid of old and expired food! My experience with the branch teller Colin today proved exactly how the reviews about this credit union were on point. His arrogance lack of knowledge and rude disposition prompted me to write this review. If you don't know, Colin, then SAY YOU DON'T KNOW! Don't give out incomplete/incorrect information because you think I'm too stupid to see that you don't have a clue... Not worthy of credit union status.

  Went to this location and tried to talk to someone regarding a loan. The lady at the desk whose name was Alenna, I think, asked a few questions at the desk and then she looked straight at me and said "I just don't have the time to sit with you and go over this but you can do it online." Now mind you they don't close until 5PM on Fridays-which is what today is -and it was around 3:30PM. I have NEVER been brushed off at a business like that before. She was very rude and should NOT be doing a customer service job. I have done business with Sharonview before and will continue to do so as their employees are usually wonderful. I would just not recommend going to university.

  I have been a member here at Sharonview a little over 2 years. Friendly and professional people are ready to help you. They sure have treated me well.

  I have been to the university branch and the park road I didn't have any problems at either branch they were very nice and helpful

  The UNIVERSITY branch needs an ATM on the outside of the branch!!
