  I had a wonderful experience with Selena and her team!! Being new to DFW, single and a first time homebuyer I was nervous, but Selena took her time explaining my lending options and got me approved quickly. I really liked the ability to e-sign and upload documents to my account which really made the process move fast!! I love the fact that they were available after 5 to answer questions and made sure that I understood each step in the process. I am in love with my new home!!

  I'm a veteran and Selena was recommended to us by our retirement company and if I could sum up our experience in one word it would be exceptional. We had some hiccups along the way on my credit history but Selena laid out a roadmap for us to get started in the beginning and we were able to knock everything down and once approved she and her team walked us through all of the steps, handled everything with ease and did a fantastic job of making us feel comfortable with everything. I highly recommend working with Selena, who knew buying a home could be this painless! Edit:: Once again, Selena has knocked it out of the park. We recently refinanced our home to get a lower rate and Selena was on top of things every step of the way and was able to secure us a MUCH lower interest rate than the original. I cannot recommend her enough for all of your mortgage needs.

  I have been very pleased with my decision to have Selena Ward from Benchmark Mortgage as my lender. Selena Ward is knowledgeable, nice, honest, and thorough. She uses all the tools available with expertise and knows the system well. I would recommend Selena to anyone who might need to buy a house in the area. It is rare to meet a lender who is so accessible, and takes the time to sit with you and explain every step of the process. But this is exactly what happened to me with Selena. She was guiding me throughout the whole process, and when the road became bumpy, she was there to navigate us, so in the end (after 30 days) I’d end up with the house that I had wished to buy. I have bought in CA several houses, and have always felt that the lenders (and other professionals involved) were leaving me in the dark. Usually the numbers they had calculated in the beginning did not match the end, and I had always felt I was taken advantage of. Coming to TX and meeting Selena Ward was a great experience, as she eased my route to becoming a homeowner in Fort Worth. She always was available to answer every question, and relentlessly assisted me during every step of the way. I can’t say enough good things about her. I am so grateful I have met her!
