  Seriously want to shout this from the f'in rooftops. F SEATTLE CREDIT UNION!!!!!!! Scammed me out of hundreds of dollars with their gap insurance. I financed it for several years, and now they refuse to give me a dime of that money back despite having that loan paid off by another institution for my new car. That is literally an extra 4 years of gap insure that I PAID FOR, that just goes straight to lining their pockets. I've literally been in tears every single time I've talked to them on the phone. You can't even change your due date for loans without filling out a paper form???? AVOID THIS CREDIT UNION AT ALL COSTS! This account im using right now isn't my real name, so don't bother saying this is a fake review or attempting to contact me.

  I've been banking with SCU for about 6 years now and out of the gate was told there was an online service that was necessary for me and came to find that wasn't available after I switched. My account has been locked out multiple times and bill pay locked out multiple times for accidental reasons. There is only one phone number available so everything filter through the same place which makes long wait times every time. Their automated system is very poor and challenging to use and impossible to get a real person. Wait times are really long!! Looking for another bank

  I just went pick up my ATM card and online it stated that it was open at 8am, I arrive before I got busy with work to pick up my card and the sign said open at 9am M thru Friday it was closed. What a waist of my time

  I regularly go to the branches and have found staff to be friendly and helpful. I had a mortgage that we are in the process of refinancing. Seattle Credit Union offered me the best rates and low closing costs. No complaints.

  I love these people and the Credit union itself. Been there are several times over the last 3 years for several reasons. Always friendly folks there. They have been able to help me in ways other bank's or unions we're not.

  This is the worst credit union, Bank I have ever dealt with I will be refinancing my Jeep to get out of this loan with these people..It's extremely difficult to navigate through their phone system and get a hold of anyone and when you do they don't even tell you they're transferring you you have to wait another 45 minutes just guessing if you're on hold or what...also I can't even get my license plate switched to the new state that I live in because they don't have a valid address to send it to.. The DMV themselves called and got the address and it's still incorrect and they keep sending it back!!!The worst service I've ever experienced in any company

  Took over 4 months to close my home equity loan. Then it's litteraly impossible to make a heloc payment online so every month after trying I had to call in and pay an extra $15 to process the payment over the phone. Each time was a 20 plus minute hold time to get someone on the phone.

  Called to schedule an appointment to the Northgate Branch while sitting outside and I watched two staff members sit at their desk and let it go to voicemail. So I stood at the door and no one came to talk to me still. Go to a different branch.

  I have had my car financed by them for about 6 months now and and no one can ever help me set up online payments it’s ridiculous. I also try to call them and I’m put on hold for over 45 minutes and then they close on me so I’m very disappointed with this bank and this is not only this branch but every branch i have been to. What kind of bank isn’t able to set up online payment it’s ridiculous.

  Use to be a wonderful bank, was able to see pass someone's credit score to get loans but now were all just numbers to them. There phone customer service is horrible. When you dont qualify for a loan. They don't even bother calling you to let you know and there appeal process is a joke. My score may not be that great and I understand that but havent missed or even been late as long as I can remember. Doesnt count for anything. They are no longer a people bank. Besides that, the branch people are wonderful too bad they dont see how the other half is ran.
