  If you are self employed, and are having difficulty getting a conventional lender to approve you, I highly recommend SCL mortgage. They specialize in offering bank statement loans based on the cashflow of your business. Working with Dave Beckman was a pleasant, no hassle experience, and we closed in under 60 days.

  It was late Sunday night when I called Rebecca to get a pre-approval letter to put an offer on a home, she was very responsive and was able to provide the letter the following morning. She was in close communication with us during the entire process and made sure we had all the documents that were needed in order to close on our new home on time. We had a unique situation regarding our loan and she was able to accommodate to our special case. She was available any time that we needed her, it did not matter what day and time it was.   Had the pleasure to work with Rebecca S. On a refinance. I was apprehensive at first not knowing anything about refinancing my house, Rebecca explained what to expect every step of the way. Her knowledge and expertise made it so simple! I had to contact her in the evening a couple times and she always would help me with my questions-- a great experience.   Dave Beckmann with SCL Mortgage was great to work with. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable and worked diligently to help me accomplish two tricky “outside the box” mortgage loans. I had a few other lenders already tell me the loans I was trying to do could not be done or had very high interest rates, but Dave was able to put them together and match them up with the best lender fit and got great rates!   Just want to take a minute to express our sincere gratitude to Rebecca Soukup and the entire team at SCL. With the current uncertainty taking place at this time, we decided to refinance attempting to lock in a rate lower than our current rate and have some additional cash reserves. Being in the mortgage business a number of years ago, I knew that getting a great rate is one thing, but so was the abilities and responsiveness of the mortgage company and loan officer we were going to be most important. After calling 4 other competitors, I spoke with Rebecca. She and SCL filled all the blanks on the first phone call and didn't ask me for a check or credit card to get things started. Knowing the current market conditions prior to start, we realized that we must remained patient with the "new normal" concerning electronic documents and conditions placed by the end investor. In reality, we really believe it happened much sooner than we expected with service beyond our expectation. Anyone that asks about a mortgage, SCL is the only place we would recommend! This was a 5 out of 5 star experience.

  Got a letter explaining the FHA conversion process to a 30 year fixed at 2.615% APR. the fine print states a $250,000 mortgage would result in a P&I payment of over $2,100/month. Some quick math and the P&I on that mortgage should be just over $1,000. They’re saying it will be double what it should be. Remember to check the fine print; I wonder where that extra $1,000/month is going with that example?
