  While Amica's insurance products may be decent their website and your access to your policy information and ID cards stinks. I've been asking them to fix their website for almost a year now. No response. This weekend, I'm calling someone else.

  I have had insurance with Amica since 18 years of age and recently relocated. They are now unwilling to offer me homeowners insurance because my roof will likely need to be replaced in 5-10 years, but has been confirmed to be in good condition by a roofer. I’m very disappointed.

  I have insured autos with AMICA since 1975. AMICA has insured two homes for me and my husband since 1994. We have had two homeowner's claims for theft and a few claims for fender benders. AMICA is super fast at sending out an adjuster and, for auto repair, giving us reasonable options to choose our repair shop. In all those years, the dividends for homeowners and auto insurance have stayed robust. AMICA is our insurance company. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Cynthia Grua/Salt Lake City

  Purchased 1-year policy and paid in full over the phone with credit card. They got the start date wrong. Tried to contact the agent and could not reach him after 2 emails and two voice mails. No response. Spoke to someone else. They would not change the start date. Instead they cancelled the policy and gave me a new quote $50 more expensive. I had to pay again. The first payment will not be refunded back to the card. Instead they will send a check. After the second payment I have no active policy or Insurance ID card. This is ridiculous !!!

  The worst insurance company!! Big rip offs and the Colorado office deserves zero stars they treat there customers like you don’t have a policy even when you have full coverage!!! May as well Not have insurance if you are covered through Amica absolutely horrible people to deal with.

  LOL @ all the 1-star reviews for not being able to get insurance through this company. That's how insurance works. Why in the world would an insurance company opt to insure a home that gets frequent forest fires or gets pelted by hail every year? Sounds like a smart company that will have the money to pay you when you need it, if you're fortunate enough to be able to be covered by them. If not, don't blame them.

  Been with Amica for 18+ years with car, life, home, 2nd home, and umbrella and their recent customer service on a claim was horrible. they focused much more on the other party than on my needs. I've dropped them.

  NO STARS!!!!! NEGATIVE STARS EVEN!!!! I missed an email by 2 weeks and instead of owing for 4, tires @ $175 each .... I ended up paying 375/tire.... I negotiated from $2000 on top of taking $100/month for the past 3 months so i guess that's something but .. they wanted to up-charge me 500/tire for $175 tires... ...that is a ridiculous punishment for missing an email .. would never recommend to anyone an will report to BBB and News watchdog...

  I called a few weeks ago to receive a quote. The girl I originally spoke to was lovely and had good customer service skills. I later decided to go with Amica and when I called today I talked to a young man named, Cole. He was edgy/rude on the phone. Amica, business lost. I also called Amica and spoke to a supervisor to let her know of my experience.
