  Lauren was nice and helpful but unfortunately we only dealt with her briefly. Then we had to work with numerous other people who weren’t so pleasant. On top of that, poor communication on their end created a snowball effect for further delays. Eventually they finally got it together enough to send us loan docs but now everything else we need to close is delayed, putting us in breach of escrow. Thanks a lot Santiago Financial for such an awful experience. Update** Chris, the owner, has called me twice now bothering me to remove my honest review. His language was very unprofessional and further confirmed that my experience with them was a 1 star experience.

  We apologize for the delays. We had a 3 week delay getting the pre approval as there were a few different co buyers we tried to use. Then we had a delay with payment on the appraisal and getting the report took approx 2 weeks and came in short. Once the loan docs were sent to escrow there was a delay getting the sellers signed items as they are out of the state and then they cancelled the deal. Fortunately they changed there position and the loan funded and escrow closed. Again we sincerely apologize for the delays that occurred in the loan/purchase process.

  Kudos to Tahra Kwon for helping me get financing for my new home. She was persistent in obtaining all information that was required and submitted paperwork quickly and efficiently.   This past year, my partner and I bought our first home. Being completely clueless about the process, and considering the state of affairs in 2020/2021, I wanted to be sure we had the best resources for information and support. Our real estate agent recommended, specifically, that we work with Tahra Kwon (Loan Agent) of Santiago Financial. For those of you in a hurry, know that Tahra is incredible; I’d give many more stars if I could! Tahra was available to us no matter when we called or how silly our question seemed. She was an excellent coach and kept us informed of each step in the process—-supporting us when we needed the occasional emotional boost too. Tahra thinks strategically and protects her clients while excelling in exceptional customer service and kindness. We even had a little hiccup when the house wasn’t quite finished and we had to scramble a bit with time ticking away on our loan clock. Tahra worked her magic and successfully ensured that we secured the loan and moved in on the date agreed. In fact, she got everything staged so that we closed about 2 weeks earlier than we had anticipated! Tahra Kwon is a skilled professional. Trust me when I say you want to work with her directly. She deserves every bit of recognition and gratitude. Thank you, Tahra, for the support this year and thank you for taking care of us like old friends.

  As first time home buyers , working with Tahra Kwon was one of the most thorough and educating experiences. She was very quick to respond to emails and if there was anything very specifically needed to be discussed , she made sure that her phone was near by. One time we even confirmed some details on the way into one of her OWN appts. Her patience was very much appreciated. I felt like I always had questions but thankfully she was always willing to educate and guide us in the right direction. Thank you Tahra !! The Bezeck Family Will never for get u !

  We worked with Tahra Kwon. She helped us so much when we bought our new home. Many things went wrong along the way and lots of stuff was postponed and she worked so hard to make sure we didn’t end up homeless in between moving out of our apartment and moving in to our new home. If it weren’t for her pushing everyone to do their jobs and get their paperwork done, we probably wouldn’t be in our home yet. Thanks Tahra for being so kind and patient with us!

  Santiago financial has the worst customer service I have ever came across. The representative I am working with is Diana Fernandez. When Diana called me - I wasn’t available and she agreed to give me a call back 10 min later, which she didn’t. I started to call her and the number on this page to reach someone who can help me with my order and I have yet to reach someone. I started out by calling off my husbands phone and asked if Diana was available and they transferred me to her extension- she didn’t answer so I tried to call again, by then they have stopped answering my calls and started to just immediately hang up on me with my husbands phone or just place me on hold. So I called off my phone and they answered right away!! The most unprofessional service I have ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!! Save yourself the headache and find any other professional services. The mobile home industry is starting to build, and the way they have handled their customers I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

  We are very sorry for your experience. We recently moved offices and had major problems with our phone system. This could have been the cause of your trouble. We have worked out all of the phone problems and we are in full operation. We take pride in providing great manufactured home lending and have been providing loans to home buyers for over 40 years!
