  I've been with them for several years and they decided to lock my account without notice and can't unlock it for 24 hours. I've been having issues with them since they transitioned to safe1. I explained to the manager why that's not acceptable and she said if I want to take my money out of my account I can, so I will be switching banks immediately. I don't recommend them to anyone they clearly don't care about their members. Also you can't keep track of your transactions in real time in the sense of if the bank isn't open you can't get your deposits and nothing posts to your account.

  Got stuck with this bank at the dealership. Little did I know they don't have online payments so I have to come in every month with cash. Receipts for some reason don't show the due date for the payment you just made, but the following month. Makes you think you're paying in advance. Then there's a 10 day grace period but their reminder letter goes out on... Yep day 11! Even still they can't tell me my late fee? For all I know it's exorbitant. Will be searching for refi options.

  Horrible customer service, just to wind up for an online account I had to wait over 30 mins when they said few mins. Why is it so complicated to sigh up for online banking and to make a payment over the phone they charge

  Had to close my account when I left for grad school and opened an account with a big bank so my husband and I would both have quick access to our accounts. A horrible two years! Closed it and went back to Safe 1 as soon as I was back in Bakersfield. Low rates and friendly service!

  Horrible. Getting a loan here was the worst. The Loan officers don’t have emails. So you can’t send forms over. It cause a lot of back and forth driving. Everyone was rude. I have the same job field and it made me angry because I would not treat my members that way.

  Clean facility. Few come here maybe because of the prior comments listed here. Their rates are the lowest in town.

  Banking with them for 20+ years...i wouldn't bank anywhere else..
