  Grew up with Ruth Reality in town and I have several family members and friends who have used Mitch Ruth and his late Father back in the day (my grandparents said they purchased two homes from him). Having a family owned bussines after all these years, they have to be doing something right. Our community needs more of these places. We plan on buying in a few months and this is the only place I would check out.

  We had total confidence in Mitch. A professional who worked hard to make us the best deal possible. He went well beyond our expectations. Mitch was easy to work with. He was quick to respond to messages/calls and on time when we had to meet up. He is on top of his game. Definitely great to work with if you have a busy schedule.   Conniving, betraying, deceitful is the best description of the work ethics and morals of Ruth Realty. Mitch purposely mislead me into a house that was completely "renovated" from the ground up. There were NO permits pulled for anything! There are wiring/electrical issues everywhere! Plumbing not completed, and done by an amateur. The well conveniently goes dry the day after closing, and I was told it's an act of God and they are not responsible. The house needs over $25K to get it back to where it should have been in the first place. Not to mention he ignores any responsibility for the contractors he hired and the piss poor workmanship of the WHOLE house! He hides behind loop holes and lies straight to your face about being on your side, and how he's not in it for the money but to better his community. HA! He emails you whenever it is convenient for him and never returns calls. He allows shady work to be done, without permits, bullies and intimidates, and refuses to take responsibility for the stuff he's authorized. They used makeshift methods and the cheapest materials possible, but conveniently didn't reduce the cost of the house as per our agreement so Ruth Realty can put more money in their own pockets. He assured me that he had the deepest respect for me being a retired vet, and he would go out of his way to treat me with honor and commitment. I didn't realize that it was a smoke screen to blindside me, and take advantage of me and my family. BEWARE! Don't buy or sell anything through this office or Mitch Ruth!

  Our office did not own the property, order/contract or direct any work for the property. In fact, the sellers bought this specific home to remodel for Mr Culver, at his request. There were issues with some of the quality of the work performed by the licensed/bonded contractors the sellers hired to do work requested by Mr Culver. Part of the issues were that the buyer went to the property almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day telling the construction workers that he was "the owner" and changed instructions, materials, colors, etc., bullying workers, causing much confusion and additional costs for his change orders. Workers walked off the job several times because of him and the change orders he gave almost daily. He even changed the locks on the home before the work was completed and before he purchased the home, and started moving in, ordering workers to stop various work and prevented contractors from completing work on time. In the end, Mr Culver was given the opportunity to walk away from the purchase without any risk of penalties and receive a full refund etc, etc., which we advised him to do, or he could receive numerous concessions from the seller that we negotiated for him. He chose to take the concessions and the money rather than walk away without any cost or risk to him. He did so with full knowledge of all of his options and that the lender appraised value of the home was higher than the purchase price of the home. In the end, we negotiated a resolution which he said he was very happy with and bought the home. That was his choice. Any complaint he might have had was either with the seller and/or himself. He always had choices and he was always in control. Despite the challenges of working with Mr Culver, we negotiated very expensive work and repairs to equipment he destroyed, after closing, that were replaced at zero cost to him. Hardly what anyone would call deceptive or taking advantage of anyone. Upon a full review of the facts, the State of Washington rejected his complaint as having no basis in fact. Our conscience is clear; as is our reputation.

  Love their sign! Ruth Realty is a real estate office in Monroe, if their service is as good as their humor it's a must stop shop for housing!
