  Oh man... Where to start! Location is so hidden and so scarce that half the criminals in Springfield probably don't know about it. And E. Washington St. to boot?! I didn't even let my wife stay in the car by herself. So I'm actually looking to buy an acoustic guitar. Played 30 years but haven't had one for about 6. I immediately notice ONE guitar - period! It's an acoustic - but small and from the 70's maybe (not a classic). I look around for redeeming qualities but sadly find none... Even the jewelry is very little to choose from and the building is already tiny so I would have it packed. Make sure you walk around back because the front entrance is there - facing railroad tracks.

  Well, Springfield Phoenix, I'm sorry we don't rise to your standards. But the page you left this review states we are in Springfield's last train station. That same page ALSO shows we do the majority of our business on-line, because so few do the "old-school" thing of running around without googling first. As to our location, we are in a beautiful spot in downtown Springfield. I'm sorry you can't understand how to find directions clearly marked on this page - you did find the review section. And I'm sorry your wife felt unsafe surrounded by beautiful manicured trees - oh, right, the bike trail runs by us too so I guess you both really aren't involved in our Community or you'd know that. What can we say? Sad. Maybe someday you'll join us in the 21st century.

  Great place to get what you need, they check everything they take in so you know it works when you purchase. Family owned/ operated and friendly, Sam and his family are the best people. Always have a great selection on hand and I've been satisfied with every purchase I've made there. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

  Sam not only is honest and sells quality items, but he also makes time for his customers after hrs. Tonight I needed to make a payment, I knew he was closed, but I contacted the store thru messenger and within just a few minutes he responded. He didn't tell me what time to meet him there, instead he asked what time was convenient for ME to come by. Wow!! And when I came in he didn't treat me as if I were imposing on his day and try to rush me out - he was his usual happy self and took time to not only take my pmt but also chat awhile. How many business people do you know who will meet you at their business after hrs at a time convenient for YOU?!? This is just one of the many reasons I've done business with Sam and will continue to do business with him for years to come!!! Fantastic prices, quality products and exceptional service!!!   My experience with dealing with Rose City, has been that they are always fair & honest to deal with . I was very pleased with the work they did to sell a gold ring for me, and with the prices that they sold it for . Also I was able to purchase some really nice pocket knives at a fair price . You won't find a better place for customer service than from Sam & Jacob .
