      My husband and I went to view a home that was showed by Chris M. He does not follow up. My husband had to call and text him to finally get a response. We got a hold of him after almost 2 weeks of putting in money. Race was a big issue with this company and the landlord that they were assisting. We have overheard him and the landlord discussion about our background. We make around 6,000 monthly. We were informed that the background check goes back 7years. But this company went back 10 years. Regardless, we were told that you cant have any felonies within 7years. There is no way we should have been denied and he also stated that we could apply for other homes but would need to pay again for the app. This company had also stated that they work with not so good credit. Since are credit was 550 we thought there was a chance. Guess they dont look at income just color. We have reported them. Good luck to anyone using this company.... WHITES ONLY

      I inquired about a house for Rent in Littleton, CO on September 28. This company uses SHOWMOJO, a third party website to schedule viewings. There is a disclaimer during the scheduling process that assures people listed properties are removed swiftly once they are leased, and if you are able to schedule an appointment, the property is still available. I scheduled my viewing on September 28, for the next earliest available time, September 30 @ 8am. I even received a text confirming the appointment. Sure enough- I received a cancellation of my appointment, on September 29 at 730pm. When I inquired and suggested that given the disclaimer, better practice would be to let all scheduled appts view and apply, I was told “It was leased two hours ago. Thanks for your input.” The point is- no accountability, no concern for customer service, no apology. Simply a cold, “too bad so sad” response. Time is valuable and wasting it is simply bad practice and extremely unprofessional. If their treatment of a person who is a prospective tenant is any indication, I wouldn’t expect anything more after leasing one of their properties.

      Unfortunately there is little to no response to maintenance tickets. On July 15 my move in day, my leasing agent Chris Mulhern submitted a maintenance request (287828) for the following items: Your request details as submitted are: 1) junk removal of some furniture items (piano, desk, filing cabinet) and trash 2) general cleaning (including windows), 3) patio door does not lock; there's currently a wooden door jamb 4) pool is dirty and was left uncovered 5) smoke detector missing in kitchen I called on July 29, and was quickly apologized by the rep who took my call. Rep promised me they would contact me the following day and was not sure why the ticket had not been worked. I received an email on 07/30 adv they barely notified the owner and asked me for photos to help them. I submitted photos on 08/01. On August 06 I submitted an additional maintenance ticket to find out why no follow up (294830). That ticket was thoroughly ignored. I also have an additional ticket that has been unresolved. Ticket # 292024 submitted on 07/30 to not having keys to the garage or access to garage door opener. I quickly received a reply indicating they will follow up with homeowners. I created a new ticket #294817 on 08/06 to follow up on this ticket, and was told that they reached out to owner via text and email again. No further information has been sent to me. So I just submitted a customer service request ticket #298598 yesterday wanting to be contacted with in 24 hrs with a plan for resolution and to see if I am worthy of mattering to the company. The homeowner advised our office on August 2nd that they could go out to the property the following Tuesday to perform the required work. The homeowner was provided your contact information and they were to contact you directly to coordinate a time. However, the homeowner did not go out to the property on the date they originally told us. After repeated contact attempts the homeowner the homeowner again advised that they would contact you directly for these concerns and resolve all of them themselves. Our office spoke with you on August 23rd and you advised that the homeowner has finally gotten in touch with you and an appointment was scheduled between you and the homeowner for the following day. We are sorry to hear that the homeowner did not complete this promptly. If the homeowner did not complete all of the required items, please let us know and we can reach back out to the homeowner.

When there was a problem or issue with our rental house they were quick to respond and find resolutions to each issue.       I have never rented my property before so I really don't have a point of reference to judge Renters Warehouse. After saying that, I will say I had only one issue with them. Being the nature of their business I assume there is a lot of turnover. On two occasions I was sending emails to my representatives and getting no answer. After several tries I called and found out that the person no longer worked there. I would suggest putting an instant reply to their emails giving instructions on who to go to in their place. I was very fortunate to have perfect renters so there were no big issues to resolve. I did find the people I worked with were very responsive, cordial and professional. If I ever rent my property again I would be sure to use them.

      I worked with Gavin Kelly. Guy is a champion and I already started sending him referrals. I literally had to do nothing and got me an 18 mo lease. I mean from taking inventory of my furnished home, to scheduling and letting in the cleaning crew last minute before the new tenants moved in because my cleaning people cancelled. I will use him for all of my rental properties as long as he is in the business.
