  I always suggest ReaLand Title to my sellers when they are choosing a title company to use. Elsa has been in the title business over 30 years. She also practiced real estate for awhile so she understands the complications that can pop up with any transaction and how to handle them. She utilizes the same paperless document storage system that we do. This allows us to share documents between the parties without having to print, fax, or email them. They remain in a secure environment. Because of their expertise and experience, I never worry when I have closing there.

  I use ReaLand Title every chance I get. Elsa and Corrine are wonderful to work with and they are very efficient and knowledgeable. All my closings with ReaLand Title have been smooth and easy. ReaLand Title knows how to get the job done! Highly recommend!!!

  This is the absolutely worst title company I've ever dealt with. Unlike the dozens of real estate transactions I've made in my life time, they refuse to take a certified check. They insist on a wire transfer. They sent the HUD statement to me, I wired the money only after my banker called to confirm that the HUD statement was completely correct, and the next day they notified me and my Realtor that ReaLand had made a $10,000.00 mistake. I had to wire the additional money after which I asked if they would reimburse me $20 for the second wire transfer fee since they were the ones who made the mistake. They refused to cover the extra cost caused by their mistake, they said that I or my Realtor should have caught their error, and their apology was limited to a flippant "sorry". In other words, they fouled up and refused to take responsibility for it. Plus they were rude. I recommend that you stay away from this company since there are plenty of other title companies which can properly fill out a HUD settlement statement and, if they make an error, own up to it and make things right. ReaLand has provided me with a terrible home buying experience and wrecked what should be a joyous occasion.

  We are so sorry that you feel this way about ReaLand Title. We strive to have smooth, uneventful closings. It is our policy to have proceeds wired because it is the most secure way to guaranty funds are received to pay out proceeds to the seller. We did refund $25 towards the wiring fee. Ten days before closing I prepared the HUD/Settlement Statement for a cash closing that your agent requested. Normally this would not be provided until all information is received. This figure was provided to you by your agent with the knowledge that the sales price was wrong. You wired the money knowing the sales price was wrong. Closings are a collaborative effort involving many people and mistakes are made. If we don’t work together to make sure mistakes are corrected then it can end up a mess.
