  Used the Simulator last week. Pretty awesome. Did the range simulation. Swing speed, ball carry numbers etc were pretty accurate compared to other trackmans Ive used in the local area. However, today I was just working on my short game. Putting and chipping greens are not great but pretty good and roll fairly decent. Staff is also really friendly.

  This is easily the worst course I have ever played. Had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes on every hole because they got greedy and overbooked the tee times during a pandemic. There are social distancing guidelines, but these people are cramming as many humans a possible onto a tee box. There were no less than 12-16 people on each hole, but it’s ok. They will still take your money. I left after the front 9 because it took 5 hours to play this ghetto, prison course. These people robbed us.

  Just to be clear 4 stars due to the fact the course was very wet. I'll be back, I think it will be far more enjoyable when it's normal. Greens are in very good shape. Greens are bunkered, web site is very accurate regarding how to play each hole.

  This is a very well maintained golf course. It is wn open design, with penalty areas, thus allowing for recovery shots. The greens were in good shape today and they were doing active upkeep during our round.

  Played there today 5/14 and had a tee time that I booked a week ago and was told it was $21 to walk 18 on the phone when I booked the tee time and then showed up today and got charged $31 and was not given any compensation or explanation for the price change except that they changed prices yesterday and couldn’t do anything about it. the staff continued to try and charge my friend and I the riding price and over charge us when we told them multiple times that we wanted to pay for 18 holes walking and not riding. I also think that $31 is an outrageous price as there are multiple fairways with standing water or muddy areas that they can not cut, there is also wet areas on every hole not even 5 yards off the fairway. I live right by the golf course but will now find another place to play that is hopefully in better condition and does not nickel and dime me. The pace of play is also horrible, they never have rangers to help and the starters never do anything other than sit on the bench at the first tee box and don’t even stop groups from teeing off in front of you that didn’t have tee times.

  True rolling greens, and well kept fairways with added wildlife.

  Location-wise, it’s the only thing close to RO/Ferndale but because of that, they have high green fees and no regard for how many golfers they send out. On multiple occasions, my buds and I have left after 4 or 5 holes because it was completely unplayable due to the number of golfers on the course. Who can get in their zone waiting 30 minutes to play each hole? It’s a decent run if you can catch it during low traffic, but it sucks paying 35 bucks to get onto a course and only play 1/4 of it because there are an unreasonable number of groups out there. I’m done with it.

  Awesome staff! I left my phone in a cart and caught them as they were leaving (already closed down) and they went out of their way for me! So thankful for the amazing people that helped me find it in the sea of carts

  A classic Donald Ross course.Once rated in the top 10 in the United States. 2 Natonal championships played there. Deteriorated for years, but now being faithfully restored. The City of Detroit can be proud of the work done. The green complexes are classic Donald Ross. Highly recommended & should b on any serious golfers bucket list

  As was expected, the course was wet. But not so wet, that we didn't all enjoy our outing. The staff, of Lisa and another young man, we're super friendly and helpful. That always makes me want to go back again! 2 thumbs up!!
