Tuan Pham1I tried to file a hail claim and was told immediately that I would be dinged and my insurance rates would go up. The representative told me my deductible is 1% and if the adjuster comes out, they will assess the damage even if it comes in less than the 1% deductible I would get dinged because I had them come out. I was basically pushed not to file a claim at all. Stay away from this company.

I do not understand why I have to work so hard to get the information that is required to be sent to me. Company will write anything to dodge a claim.

Daniel Camorani1DO NOT INSURE THROUGH PROGRESSIVE / QBE!!!! I had a hail damage claim got my roof that QBE changed my deductible from $1000 on their original quote to $7000 after my contractor made adjustments for things they missed. They are absolutely bottom of the barrel and will cheat you out if every penny they can. The service from QBE is unacceptable and unprofessional. My entire customer experience working with QBE has been filled with issues since I opened my claim. Starting with a 50+ day open claim just to get my original quote. Their reps are totally unresponsive for weeks at a time. Repeated comments from my contractor that adjustors continue to miss requested items on their updated quotes which were clearly listed. Changing my deductible mid claim with ZERO offer of any sort of compensation for the error!! They put an extra $6000 responsibility on me mid claim!!! Throughout the entire time I have dealt with QBE I struggle to get in contact with any representative who will respond to my requests; the level of engagement and communication is extremely poor. Call lines are a joke, and email communication has been left dead for weeks at a time even when I follow up near daily.

Salinaz1Do not use this insurance company. The manager Susan Chamberlin is unresponsive. Karla Mayfield who is handling the supplement is also unresponsive and unorganized. This company done nothing but try to get over on me and if they're not getting over on me they're actively trying to get over on their mitigation team. My claim has been open for about 4 months. Their mitigation team exposed my basement to asbestos. Its been unfinished for the length of the summer . They won't match any bid that any contractor has layed out for them.I have never been treated so terrible when it comes to dealing with an insurance company. Do not ever use this company..

Björn Viking1I originally had a $1,000 deductible, period. When I went to use it for my roof after a hail storm, I found out somewhere along the way it changed, so I'd have to pay over $7,000 deductible for wind/hail. Absolutely GROSS behavior from them as an insurance company, I'll be switching ASAP. **DO NOT STAY WITH QBE**

I am filing a complaint with department of commerce against this company now. Don't do any business with this company QBE insurance company.

Jessica Nelson1Can I do no stars? Took over a nine months to pay my claim and now found out they reduced my coverage without my approval. I was missing floor, ceiling, bathroom and complete use of my basement for NINE months. No longer covers my loan amount or replacement cost. BYE!

Andy1Very nitpicky insurance company. Would not recommend at all. They will cover you one day, and then a month later say you have to spend money or they will cancel you. Blegh.
