  My wife and I were introduced to Mike through a family member, and we bought our first home through Mike and Providential Mortgage . As this was our first home, we did not know anything about the home buying process, nor what to expect. Mike has been an absolute pleasure to work with - he is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and efficient. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions thoroughly and almost instantaneously. Once we entered escrow, we closed in 2 weeks, which is much sooner than we were expecting.

  Mike from Providential Mortgage was HUGE in helping us purchase our first home. Being new buyers, we didn't know much about the process when we began but Mike was very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of mortgage loans and answered all our questions clearly, quickly and respectfully.   Providential and Mike helped me secure a loan for my first home last year in the Bay Area and more recently with refinancing to lock a better interest rate.   Just a disclaimer, I typically don't review businesses - but when I do, they're only positive for extraordinary service. Providential Mortgage went above and beyond all expectations for my family and I to receive a home. Timeliness, responsive, respectful, answered all questions my wife and I had - and met all parameters of the loan we were looking for. Tuan and Mic and the rest of their team brought an ease to this experience - which could have been unnecessarily stressful. Because of this company, we're able to be in our home and close on time before the holiday season! If you're reading this, there's no need to shop around, use this company for your mortgage needs!   Myself and my wife were first time home-buyers. We were looking for mortgage broker who have good customer support, smooth end-to-end loan approval and disbursement process, and can close the loan formalities quickly, once property gets finalized. That is when we found Providential Mortgage through yelp and reached out to Mike. Providential Mortgage offered multiple loan payment options which were suitable for our financial position. Mike guaranteed us a 21 day close, but loan closure actually was done in less than 21 days. Thank you to Mike for end-to-end smooth process and guidance. Mike was very responsive, clear in all loan related communication and very transparent at every step. He was very friendly, very patient, prompt with responses and took time to explain every simple question - shows the customer care.   Let me just start by answering the question on everyone’s minds: Are all these 5-star reviews for real? Yes, Mike really is as awesome as all the reviewers say. He was knowledgeable, professional, and amazingly responsive through the entire refi process. He always answered my questions promptly and respectfully (yes, even to the dumb questions). He regularly informed me about what to expect next and notified me each time I needed to do something to quickly move the loan process along. Mike’s experience and due diligence undoubtedly played a huge part in how quickly my loan closed. I feel fortunate to have found Mike for my mortgage needs and would enthusiastically refer him to friends and family.
