  Due to prosperity Banks own negligence, they will penalize you when they process your paycheck more than once. Their system is so old that it doesn't catch the issue until 3 months later. Then they put your son's account into the negative 3 days before Christmas. So instead of them admitting they should have never let this happen, they take the unprofessional route... They insult, blame, and penalize the consumer. Shame on you Ebenezer Scrooge aka (Prosperity Bank!!!)

  I recommend Prosperity bank to anyone. After being told no so many times, they were willing to work with me and said yes through the entire process. This meant a lot for a hard working person, that just needed a break and now I am a proud home owner and it would not have happen with out that was assigned to me and that was working for my best interest.

  Prosperity bank gave us the opportunity to buy our first home with no down payment through a program they have and we qualified for. We had a small closing cost payment and now we have our first home. Thanks Prosperity Bank and thanks to Shelby Means for hekping us throught the process

  You cannot ask for better service than you will get from Shelby! Top notch! With that being said, I do believe the folks in the background who are writing the loan could do a little better. It required a few changes to get the details correct on the contract and in the end we had an unexpected surprise of overestimated escrow charges the day of close. Much higher than the documents that were presented the day prior which we signed in agreement. Geuss we will have to wait a year being over charged to get it fixed.

  Employees very unhelpful. No one in bank but myself and one person at counter. Waited forever. Finally a lady came out of office to help. Rude employees. Will not do business with Prosperity again!

  This bank does not even deserve one star. I unfortunately used them for my business and personal accounts. Horrific mistakes were made and I still can account for funds which were transferred without my consent. When I finally closed my Business account, Prosperity didn’t even realize that I had left. Completely incompetent and you should avoid this bank at all costs. It is my opinion that they could care less about small business regardless of their advertising.

  I will say I have called, but I haven't received a call back on a few things. Seems to happen a lot. I did miss out on a house because the bank couldn't make a decision on if they wanted to loan me money to move the house to a new location. I'll also say I fell like once I had taken out a loan that I have been pushed off to the side. I have called about getting a better interest rate with development taken place, but never received a call back about it.

  We had a great experience with receiving a home loan. The loan officers all went above and beyond to help us get the things done we needed in time to get our closing done when scheduled.

  If you need to get a loan I would recommend going somewhere else. I got a land loan which was super easy. Once the time came for me to get a loan to get a home moved out there they beat around the bush for about a month. During this time I was asked to get in touch with a foundation worker, a contractor, Electricion, and a house moving company. Once I was finished I got in touch with Cy Hill who said then he thought it wasnt a good investment. A month in and changes his mind. I lost my ernest money, aswell as a dang nice home. Still have the land with a 6% interest rate that could have been lowered, but hey why would they when they can make more in the long run doing things like this. Also made an extra 200 dollar payment which they put towards the interest instead of my principal. Not happy and haven't been since financing fell through with that home. Go elsewhere.
