  I've been going to this gym for around a a year now, anywhere between 3-10 times a week (sometimes twice a day), all different times of day (5am to 10pm). The gym is decently large, has decent selection of free weights and machines, and is cheap. However, it's REALLY bad at regulating temperature. In the mornings, it's freezing, even in the middle of summer. In the evenings, it gets very hot. The water fountain temperature is often times warmer than the air temperature inside in the mornings. I've mentioned this a few times, but I don't think the workers there can really do anything. It gets busy around 5-8/9pm on weekdays, and is fine most of the time on weekends. Best times I've found which worked for me have been 5-7am or 8-10pm on weekdays and 9-11am on weekends.

  Just tried this place for the first time since their "Renovation". WTH?? They got traded two goid back machines for one older generation machine. They then put that machine, & >a dozen others, right under the noses of the fat cows who spend all cold n flu season coughing their lungs up on whoever is in front of them. Brilliant! They moved other machines so 10-15' of dead space now remains unused. I've been using this gym for years. No more. I'm seeking other options in the area. The staff has always been nice. Whoever thought these changes up is an idiot. Don't be surprised when people stop renewing their memberships...

  The general manager Mary was very unprofessional and rude. I had an issue that wasn't my fault so the manager at another location told me to tell her to give him a call if any concerns. I did so and she says she don't care what anyone says because she runs this location and she can deny me if she wants. I don't understand how someone could be so stuck up towards a member paying to use their facility. Planet fitness should not have an over weight /miserable manager who isn't pleasant dealing with the public! I will never return to this location!

  LOCATION IS TERRIBLE. Employee's okay for most days. The equipment is always down and is very small. Bathrooms are always dirty and never look or feel clean. Only ONE water fountain station!!! Thats terrible! This gym needa to relocated and a new manager!

  I'm a new member and very pleased with the center having so many major issues with health Chris the trainer listens to my concerns and has put a workout together that I can do Dee the intake personal is very well trained in the different package deals and found one that fits me throughout my workout the other staff managers which include Michelle and GM have checked in with me to make sure I'm okay with this type of support you can't go wrong

  This location isn't open 24 hours people. So if you work late but still wanna burn some calories before going home. THIS ISNT THE PLACE FOR YOU. I'm so disappointed. I'm new to this location but I used to be a member at the wilmington location specifically for location and accessibility. Obviously I assumed I would get the same experience here but NO. The signs outside are misleading. And if you are a chain you should have the same hours as all the other chains in the area. Now I have to decide whether I want to drive 40 minutes (to elkton or wilmington and back) and take the chance they'll charge me because it isnt my home gym or just skip out on my workout today. I will sign any petition or appeal to any board to have this facility open 24 hours. It's literally 6 minutes from my house and I work the weekends so I cant get here any earlier than I did today which was 6:40. And they apparently close at 7. Highly irritated and kinda wanna scream.

  This gym is so large, but all the equipment is outdated. The staff is generally nice during the week, but could care less on the weekends. I have a black card, so I will probably on go here Monday-Friday after classes and just go to the Elkton one of the weekends.

  My wallet was stolen from my locked "locker" at this location. Lockers are so flimsy that thief was able to pry open top of locker and remove my wallet. Staff didn't seem to care and wasn't willing to do anything but give me the phone to call the police. No security cams, and no offer to give me a list of the 10 or so males that were in the place at the time.

  Equipment is ok at best, basic free weights and machines. Cardio equipment is hit and miss, some of the machines are noisy and out of order at random times. The staff is what kills any positive reviews. The rules are different depending on the time of day and who is working. Some members of staff are helpful and others couldn't care less, especially in the early morning. Locations go through the trouble of checking in members from other locations but computers are not connected for account assistance or member services. I only have experience with the men's locker room, but I'm sure its no different for the women's locker room, it was musty and the floor was wet by the urinals and toilets. The Smith Machine underneath the A/C unit gets wet from the unit leaking onto it and is frequently out of order as a result. Go only if you have to or don't mind dealing with the negatives to get in a good work out like I try to.

  I love this gym. I used to live near the gym so it was in walking distance which made it perfect for going at whatever hour I wanted. 24 hours is awesome and it's so cheap. I love the fact that it's a cheap membership but it's not a ghetto gym. Granted, they try to stay up to date and keep it looking nice but there are a few parts of the gym (with signs or leaks) that should really be fixed much faster than they are...but not enough of a distraction to make me look elsewhere to workout. I wish they used the lunk alarm more. I absolutely hate when people drop weights and I always see the associates just sitting at the front desk texting. Regardless, I love this gym and I really can't push myself to join elsewhere because of the cost and convenience. I just wish they had more free weights and free standing equipment because it's always a wait for the captain's chair (since they only have one) and some of my fav free weights are always taken.
