  From the first time we spoke with Wendy, we knew we were in excellent hands. We interviewed several mortgage lenders, but none had the knowledge, patience, or connections that Phoenix Star Mortgage has. This is our third mortgage with them (we buy 'new every two'), and we'll never go anywhere else. They'll spend the time to accurately and honestly assess your financial situation, and then explain your financing options in plain English. You can only do that with experience. They'll find the best rates and the best situation for whatever your situation is. Closings have always been smooth and perfect, and Wendy always addresses our sometimes strange questions with empathy and candor. It always feels like we've made a lifelong friend when we talk with anyone at Phoenix Star Mortgage! HIGHLY recommend.

  Havana and Wendy at Phoenix Star Mortgage were awesome to work with, especially as first time home buyers. They were very patient in explaining everything to us and answering our questions, and they were always quick to move things along as we put in offers and moved forward with closing on our new house.   I have personally dealt with Wendy Ruhling and there literally is not enough stars up here for her and what she did for me . Anyone that has purchased a home before knows how stressful it can be and dealing with Wendy was like family . I can't say enough about Wendy and her company .

  Wendy and Havana were amazing to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable and were excellent at communicating with us throughout the process. They went above and beyond when there was a problem with the title and our closing was delayed. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!

  Havana Romaine and Wendy Ruhlig were amazing. I had a complex refinancing. I had a title problem because of a mistake by a second mortgage I paid off years before. They chased down the problem and solved it. I also had a Shared Appreciation Mortgage (SAM),other brokers had never even heard of this mortgage. Wendy and Havana handled the SAM perfectly . This was only one part of a complex refinance through VA. They knew every step of the process. I am lucky i have found Phoenix Star Mortgage. I highly recommend this company. Im going to get their help with my daughter's financing.
