Ramonika Simmons1Don’t do it! This bank is fraudulent. MARK PADGETT oversees service members including Jen who speak to customers of 16 years in condescending manners. They have no regard or respect to their customers. I stated they are fraudulent due to their “courtesy pay agreements” that they have. They abuse them and their customers. They are charging people overdraft fees based off of “available balances”. Meaning pending charges that actually never go through, money that you may actually still have, this bank is charging fees based off that. They are fraudulently & taking peoples money. I get it, they have to make money some kind away. But abusing your customers is sad. $29 fee. I can understand a $10 fee or maybe a five dollar fee but $29 how do you come up with that? Meaning they will charge you 29$ for a 6 dollar charge. Digging people in holes that they cannot get out of. Abuse their customers. I am a traveling registered nurse of 10 years I’ve had an consistent income of over $200,000. Money is not the issue here, it’s the principal of the way that their technical systems work. The reason I experiences this is because I’m in the process of transferring all of my funds to a different financial institution and then this happened . The representatives are completely rude And have no regard to any concern that you may have. Here’s a screenshot to show you the fee that they charged. If I have $60 in my account and $37 is deducted why are you charging me a $29 fee?

I came in within the last 15 minutes or so of them closing and they were so nice and all the representatives greeted me. I have recently moved over my banking to Pen Air and this is my first in branch visit since starting and it made it a wonderful experience!

W. Moore4Over the past few months this location workers have greatly improved on their customer service. Love the fact I can make a deposit at the ATM and it immediately be credited to my account. The app is s great way to keep up on many banking needs.

Kimi Wickham1Use another bank not pen air. Its not this location that's terrible it the company. Me and my family are having a hard time with money and they will not help us at all. We have called and was told to pay up or get lost. Most definitely switching banks to one that will give us the assistance for issues like the one we are having now.

Chester Cunningham1I was a Pen Air member for years and then one day i had money taken out of my account. I had no idea who it was, or how, or why the money was removed. I went into a ladies office that had a sign. That sign said that if they did not take care of their customers.... someone else would. I left her office and systematically shut down all my banking b with Pen Air as I switched it all over to Navy Federal Credit Union. I have been happy ever since.

Ca Am3Pen Air may think the new layout is safe but they need to listen to the customers. The layout inside the business puts the customer's business right out were everyone can not only hear but see every transaction that is going on. The lobbies are pretty and modern but not conducive for the safety of the customers. I do like the new ATM's outsiide but will avoid doing any business inside the building. This might be Pen Air's goal to eliminate staff but it also eliminate me from coming to Pen Air for future loans, accounts and services
Response from the ownerHi, there! We sad that you feel this way about our pod stations. The pods actually provide more security for our staff and members than a traditional teller line. We'd be more than happy to address your concerns and help you better understand the "why" behind these location designs. Here are just a few examples. The risk of robbery is drastically reduced in this environment because we use cash recyclers which blocks immediate access to the cash unlike a teller drawer would. If a robber comes to case our locations, they are going to move along to somewhere else because the way our branches are designed makes it much more difficult to rob. For our members' protection, privacy screens are placed on all computer screens, eliminating the chance for someone to see what is on the screen unless they are standing directly in front of the screen. The pods actually provide a more personal member experience, and allow our employees to be closer to the members for privacy and to provide a more welcoming experience versus communicating through bullet-resistance glass or the barrier of a teller line counter. Ji Roberts1Would have given five stars until the remodel of the inside and the complete change of the drive though. No longer have any privacy when dealing with a teller on the inside. Have no clue how to use the drive thru windows as there are no instructions and they look more like an ATM machine. I'll only use the ATM machine at this location and if I want privacy or use a drive thru window that I can see a teller and not try to figure out some new machine. Completely confusing at the drive thru machines the first and only time I went to one I thought they had changed all the machines into ATM machines. The blinds are down so you no longer have a teller to look at when making a transaction. If this is going to happen to the rest of your locations then I will be changing to another credit union or bank. Besides the fact that this credit union doesn't seem to cater to the customers on the eastern side of the county.

Jason Young1Having visited the Milton location after the remodeling I will never recommend Penair due to the lack of privacy while conducting transactions at the new dialogue towers. The new dialogue towers have ZERO privacy and allow everyone nearby to watch money being exchanged between the customer and a teller. I had to make a large cash withdraw, after I showed the teller my ID and told her the amount she got the money, walked from behind the computer right next to the tiny, completely open counter which I was standing at and proceeded to count out thousands of dollars right in front of everyone. As I looked around everyone was watching and I had never felt so unsafe and unsecured as I did conducting this transaction at the Milton Penair location. I personally was able to witness personal transactions and count money being disbursed by tellers to members while just waiting to conduct my transaction, this was easy to do since there is absolutely no privacy. These new dialogue towers set a dangerous precedent and show just how little Penair cares about customer safety and privacy. This new dialogue tower system would allow a criminal to easily watch cash being disbursed because there is nothing to stop them. Numerous friends, family, and co-workers share my sentiments on the new dialogue towers, simply put they hate it as much as I do and many were able to witness what I did just standing there waiting. Bottom line is Penair does not respect member privacy or safety this is evident with this new dialogue tower concept at the Milton location.
