Mark Presson5Great staff, most helpful close and lots of people working, no wait time. Lots of drive-through. Don't pay bank fees use a Credit Union instead! I have to fly to visit but then when I am there it feels like home.

Donald Smith4My father was a member from working at chemstrand when the plant opened. The name has changed along with the credit union. Our family has been with them most of my life. I have had the best experience there than anywhere else. I've had all sorts of loans and business accounts along with personal. Just recently o was buying a camper and was withdrawing money to purchase it and my repasentive asked about my truck loa n. I had it financed through the dealership several years ago and she updates it and saved me several thousand dollars. I'm always treated like family. They seem to know my needs before I do. Thank you for your honesty and integrity. I won't be going anywhere.

Scott Tomlinson5Thank you to everyone at Milton Branch. The manager Becky is always so pleasant to talk to and is always in a good mood. She makes sure that when I deposit funds that a certain amount is still available to me immediately , while explaining that there will be a hold on the other funds. My point being that I don't get upset about the extra hold time because of her politefulness and willingness to educate me on why they're doing what they do and how they do it. The other bank tellers and managers are all helpful and delightful every time. They fix any mistakes quickly and usually don't make them.

Jessica Geren1I've never been mistreated by anyone with Gulf Winds and I've not had a bad experience. Actually, everyone has been extremely friendly. My review is solely based on lack of convenience. I received an auto loan through Gulf Winds. I had been looking to leave Bank of America and thought i'd switch my accounts to Gulf Winds. I've banked with credit unions much smaller than Gulf Winds, I didn't really anticipate an issue. I opened a checking and 2 savings accounts, I switched my direct deposit over. Last night, I went to deposit cash into the ATM and it spit out an envelope. I mean, depositing cash into an ATM and having it available immediately isn't new technology. I called this morning just to see if I was doing something wrong and was advised that anything I deposit into the ATM, i'm given credit for $200 immediately, and anything after that has a 2 day hold....at the head teller's discretion. So if i deposit $500 CASH into the ATM, I wont have access to it for up to 2 business days!!!! I was doing this at a 1 location credit union 15 years ago. Needless to say, I will not be keeping my main accounts with Gulf Winds.

Michelle Cole5My husband and I refinanced our home with Gulf Winds recently. Cristy Nash was our Mortgage Loan Officer and was fantastic! Alex Wachob was the Mortgage Processor and helped make the entire process smooth and effortless. We had previously started to refi with another company and the process was a nightmare, aside from them lying about our rate. We got a fantastic rate with Gulf Winds and will absolutely do business with them again.

Joseph Garrigan1For some genius reason they don't have the availability to reset the password via customer service or mobile browser. Guess what not everyone has a laptop. In addition it doesn't allow you to request your user ID via app, desktop or mobile. Customer service is useless.

Shannon Whiddon5I came to Gulf Winds from another credit union. Of which I was a member for years. After closing my account, I immediately came to Gulf Winds, it was 5 minutes to 5. The woman who set up my checking and savings was tired and ready to go home. But not one time did she get upset with us, she quickly set up our account, started going over all the things offered, and I said stop, go home thank you so much, I am sorry I made you stay over. She was very polite , I told her if I had any problems or questions I would come back. So far I am liking you guys. Can't wait to get my debit card and checks. Thank you.

D Dice1One of the worst Credit unions in the Country! Treats military and veterans different and not in a good way! I would not recommend this bank to anyone! Go elsewhere for better service and banking.
