Explained why I needed to pick up a check and explained how difficult it is to utilize their less than stellar drive thru related to me being legally blind in one eye and it altering my depth perception and said drive thru just being too tight and asking for alternatives. They had the audacity to speak to me in a condescending tone and then call me back to give me directions to that drive thru. So this account will be closing. Goodbye Pelican. Hello Neighbors!

Chad C5So with COVID going on, I believe the lobby is closed. I went down Carpenter this morning and saw that the drive thru was full. Let's say about five cars in the small drive way, and four more sitting on Carpenter. In the time it took for car number eight to get into the small driveway, I: -Sat for about ten minutes then, -Decided to download the mobile app -Incorrectly put in my password about five times -Reset my password -Failed an attempt to successfully deposit my check -Took more pictures and then succeeded on my second try to deposit the check. 5/5 stars for finally convincing me that mobile deposit is the way to go and keeping me from pulling into that drive thru.

Veronica Wilson1Poor service, and no compassion for its members. After the storm our roof began to leak. So we followed the protocol and called the insurance company and processed a claim. We received a check for the damages and were given a run around. For the last couple of weeks it has been raining everyday. We found a company to do the work soon as possible, to avoid any further damages. The credit union told us that we had to pay for the roof damages which came up to about $10,000. I was like, are they out of their mind. The deductible was already paid, so why wont they accept the check so we can have the repair made. They finally took the check and disbursed some of the money to get the supplies. And the roof is almost finished and all they want is pictures. They are worried about the money that was given by the insurance more than a loyal member. I usually do not leave reviews, but this disturbed me so badly. Not everyone is trying to run a scheme.

Brandon Q1Pretty good bank if all you need is somewhere to process transactions and hold your money for you. I still bank here just because I don’t have time to swap at the moment. If you need anything beyond a place to just store money then I wouldn’t at all recommend. Probably the worst company I’ve ever dealt with as far as communicating goes. I’ve been told multiple times in my dealing with them that “I’ll call you right back” and three days later you call them, go through the 15 minutes of transferring and holding, and they say “I was just about to call you.” This world lacks professionalism in the workplace. Whoever reads this and doesn’t believe me then look at my current file and the lack of progress that has been made on it over the course of two weeks. It’s a joke.

Ebony love5This place is cool but you better watch your charges on your account and that's all lm gonna say. I had Cuna life and disability since 2012 and l didn't no that l had even signed this paper. This is a good bank but Please read your papers before signing.

Kristi Jarrell1I used this bank because my bank is way cross town in Baton Rouge and I always would come here to cash my checks. Last time, I was told that there would be a hold on my check. I didn't understand why because I've always cashed my checks there. So I had to go all the way to Siegen to cash my check. I WILL NEVER BANK WITH PELICAN EVER AGAIN.
