  What a great shop! The owner is a genuine and nice guy who made sure to be fair when purchasing an item from me. Easy parking and friendly service. Highly recommend this pawn shop!

  Needs to be a system of contacting customers if unable to attend appointment. Both myself and another person had appointments today at 10:00 am and 10:30 respectively. No show. I waited until 10:45 with no communication or text otherwise (to clarify I was the 10 am appointment). I also called but was sent straight to voicemail. I walk with a cane and was standing the entire 50 minutes I waited as I was here a bit earlier. I’m sure the owner is very nice but this was very unprofessional. EDIT: Someone reached out to me and mentioned that today was an off day. While I understand this, this is not indicated in the hours nor their signage so again, poor communication. I have added stars for the mix up but I stand by my frustration. Nothing I could see indicated this.

Unfortunately, both you and the other person tried making appointments while the shop was closed on Sunday and since we were closed, we didn't get the chance to confirm your appointment (the email sent to you after making a booking says to wait for confirmation on your requested appointment time). If your appointment had been confirmed, we would have been at the store waiting for you like we are for all of our CONFIRMED appointments. We have NEVER missed a confirmed appointment and if you want an early morning appointment in the future, we encourage you to book your appointment earlier than the evening before so there is time for it to be confirmed. We hope with this clarification, you can see that this was not done to you on purpose and that there was a misunderstanding of how our appointment process works. As stated at the beginning, your feedback helps us to improve and we will be making further clarifications on our website and booking pages today to ensure this misunderstanding doesn't happen again. Please give us a call at (808)365-3142 if you would like to discuss this any further or provide your own suggestions on how to improve the process. If you believe that further clarification on the website will be sufficient to resolve this problem for future first time customers, we please ask that you consider raising your one star review so we are able to continue growing as we continue to improve our processes.
