  Beautiful course and would play here 2-3 times a year with previous owners. New owners jacked up the price and no discounted rates for twilight? What a joke! There are a lot of beautiful courses within an hours drive of Albuquerque with much better value!

As one of Golf Digest's top U.S. golf courses and New Mexico's best, we believe our new all-inclusive pricing is on-par with, but still less expensive than, other nationally ranked courses. The Greens Fee now includes concierge assistance, cart, golf balls, food (all you can eat), and non-alcoholic beverages (all you can drink). We have made significant improvements to the course itself by reintroducing the original site lines and introducing new grass varietals. We know that New Mexico's golfers have many choices when deciding where to golf locally.   Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club is home to one of the top-rated and finest championship golf courses in New Mexico. This excellent 27-hole, tree-lined and open parkland layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.

  Paako was always one of my favorite golf courses to play the five or 6 times a year. With all of the new changes coming to a more exclusive platform and the green fee hikes to that of 200 dollars flat rate, many local NM golfers have turned away. New owners Tony Alvarez and Brian Marsal have made this more of a resort style atmosphere rather than catering to the already loyal Albuquerque and surrounding clientele. Rates used to reflect in different forms of discounts from local retailers and green fees were adequately sustainable. It’s sad to see that a good portion of the golfers that considered this there prime place to play several times a year will now rethink the value at that price. I have played exclusive golf courses around the globe and paako rates are very aggressive to there “new” revamp. Very curious to see if this place will stay afloat because of the need to add a few extra dollars to the golf courses pocket book based on so called exclusive improvements. People just want to enjoy the same golf course they’ve played for years at a fair price.

  Good course and service. The recent raise to a $200.00 rate assumes you want to eat breakfast and lunch there plus pound non-alcoholic drinks. Must need to support their food and beverage department and/or attract only the idle rich. I heard several other traveling golfers make similar comments.

As New Mexico's highest rated public golf course and a Top 50 course in the U.S., we feel confident that the rates reflect the caliber of the experience. We have made significant improvements to the already impressive course by reintroducing the original sightlines, increasing maintenance, and the introduction of new grass varietals for better performance, drought tolerance, and color. We have added hospitality assistance upon arrival and departure. We are continuing to make improvements and are in the midst of a clubhouse renovation that will provide an impressive restaurant component to the Paako experience next season.   Beautiful surroundings, challenging course. It's long and you need to keep it on the fairways. Bunkers are deep and there is very little sand o them (leave the sand wedge in your bag and use something with less bounce.

  It's a great location and fairly challenging. The only draw back is the price. Way to expensive. Could see more people going if it wasent for that.

  They have a new chef and cooking team and its great! I just had Sunday breakfast this morning and would recommend it. I hope others in the East Mountains will support this Grill- we need to keep it open for dinner too.
