  We bought some jewelry and were satisfied. So we decided trust the jewelers suggestion on getting 4 watches serviced and cleaned, $1500 worth. One month later we receive our watches back, my watch was supposed to be appraised, but it wasn't, serviced but not cleaned and no notes on any of the work done. My fathers watch came back horribly scratched. Big scratch on the bezel and horribly scratched on the band, as if it was worn for years. Only conclusion i have is the jewelers watch maker switched bands and bezel, as we were in disbelief at how they could have scarred it this much. The bezel is worn all the way around. We will be opening it up to make sure the numbers match. Bottom line, it's worth way less than its appraisal value now. Spare yourself from the turmoil. In fact, boycott all pawn shops. And Eddy, the owner, spare me your excuses you plan on answering back with. Edit: Well your"goal" has failed, we're not pleased. We brought in a mint pristine watch, it being used is not an excuse at how you treat peoples property. You didn't try to remedy the situation, you tried to give us excuses and defend your watch maker without hesitation. You wanna make it right. Replace the band and bezel your maker stole or ruined, That's how you can make it right. Till then, I'll tell everyone in OBX to stay the hell away from your Pawn shop you shyster. Edit: Adding more to the review as i see one of my watches is still fast. So an extra waste of $450. Just keeps getting worse with this place.

  At Outer Banks Jewelers and Pawn it is our Daily Goal To Please ALL of our Customers. You brought us a used watch for cleaning and overhaul and that is all that was done with your item. If it wasn't a used item the servicing wouldn't have been necessary. We work with quite a few High End Items and they are all treated with the same care whether it's a Twenty dollar item or a Twenty Thousand dollar item. We reached out to you to remedy the situation and you never gave us the opportunity. We're here to make it right whenever you wish too. Thank You! EDIT: We understand your issue, however, it is not worth it to us to jeopardize over Thirty Years of Successful business over an Android Watch. Again, we deal with items which are way more valuable everyday whether monetarily or sentimentally. Accusing a business/business owner of doing something like this is very serious, and it is not worth it to us to do that over a watch. When we contacted you on the phone, and when you came in to retrieve the watch you never gave us a chance to get a word in edgewise to correct the situation. We're here everyday if you wish to come in and "CALMLY" discuss this. Thank You!

  Found what I was looking for and then some! Beautiful pieces both old and new. The owner is a great story teller and even showed us the jewelry bench.

  Eddie, Justin, and Don are some of the nicest guys. If you are pawning they want to help you out, meaning they don't immediately take your stuff at the 30 day mark. They actually take the time to call to let you know that you're past due. And there jewelry prices and craftsmanship is amazing, if they can't do it no around here can when it comes to fabrication. Not only do I do business with them on a regular basis but I consider them friends. Kindness goes a long way now a days.

  I can not say enough good things about this shop. I went in on Christmas Eve looking for a chain for my son. They not only gave me an amazing deal. They took the time to listen, and we talked and told stories. I felt so very comfortable. Thank you for the generosity you showed me, but also for the wonderful conversation .

  Our “go-to place” for all of our jewelry needs, from sizing, watch batteries, and of course purchasing! Eddie and son are friendly, personable, and knowledgeable of every aspect of jewelry! The only downside of this store is that EVERY time we go in, I leave with something I really didn’t need, but just have to have! 😊 Their selection of jewelry is incredible!! Highly recommend!!!

  Just picked up my wedding ring set after the staff reshaped and soldered it after previous stores left is in bad shape during resizing. The set has never looked better! Totally worth it to travel 250 miles round trip to have my set in such beautiful shape. Thanks again and we will be back for future purchase/service.

  My husband and I wandered into the shop today, and we both left with purchases we are very happy with. As well as the pleasure of meeting a couple of awesome gentlemen. I'm over the moon with my ring and cuff braclets ❤ They treat you like an old friend and we will definately be back when we can.
