  The workers are helpful and nice. I guess the white man is the Owner, he was nasty to his employees. He need to check his attitude. NOBODY need to be disrespected in any manner. I will not be going back.

  My daughter and I had some time to kill in Elizabeth City so we came here. As soon as we walked in the door an associate told us the guns were upstairs. We told her we were just looking, we then overheard her make some comments to another associate aboht how people shoukd be sitting at home quarenteed due this virus and shouldn't be out looking around. Was about to spend $200 but i'll take my money somewhere else.

  My husband and I both went to speak with someone about purchasing a weapon and the first employee was with a customer, overlooked us to great the person behind us. Whatever, so we wait for him to finish with that guy and another employee came over and overlooked right past us to help a lady behind us. NOBODY in the store in the 25 mins we waited greeted us, asked us if we needed help or even spoke to us. Thanks to this negative experience I'm letting anyone who mentions chaunceys know how I feel, and making sure I send business to the EC pawn and Jewelry.

  The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I always receive great deals on tools and musical equipment. They also have cool t-shirts.

  Chauncey's staff and owner are some of the most helpful people I've dealt with. When ever I'm in there I see great team work and great attitudes. There always ready to answer any questions or concerns I have about a firearm and the other day I asked several questions about several guns and ammunition the staff was happy to pull a gun up out the case so me how it operates all the features and even pull boxes to show me the bullets that went for the guns and what would be good for self defense ect. Ect. Ect. Not to mention I just got the glock 43 there and it was the cheapest in 5 counties along with a box of 9x19 a hundred rounds for 20 dollars! !!!! What a deal so for ask you nay sayers and I say this because I work in this city to eat a bowl or have several bowls of *&@$s please and thank you #huryupwiththerange

  Let it be known that I have a very above average knowledge of firearms. I went into the store asking for a few parts, one including an offset takedown pin, for an ar I was building for a family member. The guy at the counter literally said that it was the dumbest thing hes ever heard and why not just buy a whole new ar...its a 20 dollar pin...personally I like places that listen to what I want, not just sell me something I dont need.

  They're a bunch of criminals. Any time I have ever thought to give them a try and sell/pawn anything they low ball you to next nothing for your goods. Tried to sell a shotgun and they only offered $50 for it. Everyone else offered 3x as much.

  Chauncey's is a great place with excellent service when u really need a helping hand in times of need . Rob , Laura,lonnie and the guys always try and do all they can to help u out and get the funds u need . When u need a laptop or tools , mabye a quick present for a loved one there prices are always better than anyone else and they are always patient and friendly . So if u need cash or are looking for something stop by and check with them first before u go somewhere else and pay retail.

  All staff was pretty nice but this old white short haired lady was very snappy and rude. I heard some call her Laurie? She always tends to be very short and snappy!!! I hate when I go in and she is there. It dampens my spirits.
