Mike Oberst1I try to put $11,000 in my wife’s checking in the drive thru. You guys tell me you can’t take that much $$$ in the drive thru. I went thru the drive thru because I have asthma and can’t wear a mask. You tell me to come inside then tell me I have to wear a mask. Screw you guys! Today 5 days later I go to put $14,000 in my wife’s checking in Tumwater and you tell me I can’t be inside without a mask and you can take my $14,000 in the drive thru. Your policies are inconsistent from one location to another. I expect someone to reach out to me as I deposit tens of thousands of dollars in this account around 30 times a year. I have never had to wear a mask until this last 2 visits and the governor lifted the mandate next month. I have a dr note stating that I have asthma and don’t have to wear a mask- if this was really about health you would honor it - I will not put my health at risk for a mask that doesn’t work. If it was an N95 mask I could at least understand that as they actually work. If I don’t get a call I will come in next week to speak with the manager. Mike

Branch managers typically handle situations case-by-case, and we do our best to be consistent especially when it comes to our practices and procedures for covid safety. We are aware of the upcoming change to the Washington State mask mandate happening March 21st and until then we will try to accommodate members with health concerns. Erik Smith1Seems like a really friendly place, unless you're not an O Bee CU customer. No walk up ATM outside, no ATMs inside, and unless you know your account number at your CU they can't help you. I ended up standing at the drive thru ATM (their only ATM) hoping that the customers waiting in their cars wouldn't run me over. They also charge a fee for members of other credit unions to use their ATMs.
Response from the ownerHi Erik -- We apologize for the inconvenience when you visited us. The Shared Branching network has specific procedures and guidelines we must follow. While O Bee is part of the Shared Branching network, not all credit unions are. If your credit union is not part of the network, unfortunately you’ll be dinged with a fee. As far as the account number is concerned, to secure and safeguard your account we ask that any non-member using our CU provide their account number. This is an important measure that we strictly adhere to. We can’t make the transaction without it. Finally, the ATM is intended for walk-up and drive-up, but we understand that walk-up may be uncomfortable at times, especially when cars outnumber people. Thanks again for the feedback. Kegan Glyndwr2They don't offer loans to out of state people. But they will run your credit report, even though they KNOW you are out of state, and ding your credit rating.. Shame on YOU!!!! Even got hung up on..
