CountryPlace Mortgage Reviews

CocoaNatural5I recently had my manufactured home refinanced through Country Place Mortgage, OLYMPIA, WA. It was previously financed by Park Lane Finance. I got a great rate and lowered my monthly payments by almost $150. I worked with Lisa Reynolds and Scott LeClaire and I must tell you that they were GREAT company representatives to work with. They were very helpful with any information that I needed and VERY quick to respond either via email or phone and as fast as I sent in the requested paperwork....they were on it and processing it. I NEVER had to ask anything twice and Ms. Reynolds even went over the completed documents with me via the phone to make sure I had everything signed correctly, notarized properly and ready to present. If you are looking to finance or refinance your manufactured home.....I HIGHLY SUGGEST giving Country Place Mortgage a change to earn your business.....I think you will be as happy as I am with their service and rates.

Laurie Capek5Troy, Lisa, and Celeste - and everyone - at CountryPlace Mortgage were absolutely terrific! We started out with some challenges, credit-wise, but Troy showed us how getting a brand new home was actually more doable than an old used run-down home. No matter how busy they all were, they made us feel like we were their top priority. They worked closely with our builder to close our loan at just the right time, and they all worked non-stop to get us through some crazy and nerve-wracking twists and turns at the last moment. We cannot praise them enough for helping to make our new home a reality!! Thank you all so much!!

Jeremy Whitlow1We have had these Lenders since we got into our home and they have done nothing but harass you buy calling if your a day late with a payment, they rip you off with your payment. our issue is they are taking everything from our payment and putting nothing to the principal payment so our kids's kids will still be paying on this mortgage, we are going to look into this with a lawyer unfortunately. these institutions shouldn't be allowed to screw people over, we pay all our bills do the right things and companies get away with stealing everyday. Oh and don't buy Palm Harbor Homes they will screw you as well thats probably why these companies work together.

mike gazzera5My experience with Country Place was excellent. Our contractor we were using decided to quit and try to keep our money. I contacted Troy Morrow and he jumped right in and took action. He gave me the assurance that everything would be OK. Although it took a couple of months to get my money back, Troy was on it daily. Communication was superior, even if he didn't have any new news he always dropped a line just to keep me in the loop. I really appreciated the customer service he provided, and if anyone is looking to finance a home to please give Troy a shout. He treated me and my family fair, and I know he would do the same for you.

Nicole Hampel5We were referred to Jim after a stint with a mortgage lender who lied and was causing us to sign extension after extension. I’m so glad we were referred to him though because not only did he get our construction loan closed in the 6 week time frame he went above and beyond talking to us and guiding us along the way. My husband and I were more than annoying after our first 4 months of run around experience with our previous lender and Jim still took the time to call us back or give us updates as we asked for them. Lisa was our loan processor and she also was prompt at returning any communication and also played a huge role in getting our stuff done on time. This team was nothing short of fantastic for us! I will not hesitate recommending them in the future to anyone!

Caitlin Ann1Not sure what they’re trying to do. They told me my credit score is TWO HUNDRED POINTS lower than it is. When the guy told me my score was in the 500s I completely panicked and ran my credit through Expedian, Transunion, and my bank. Came in two hundred points higher than Countryplace said. Are they trying to not get any business or something??

Darcie Stalsberg1Since we first started our journey with Troy and Country Place in December 2011 it's been ROUGH! I really recommend that no matter how bad you want to get into a home you stay clear of this LENDER before it pushes you into possible Foreclosure. Our mortgage was estimated at $1650/mo. and ended at closing around $1800/mo. After closing, they sent a letter in Jan. 2012 that they incorrectly calculated our mortgage and it was actually $1862/mo. OK errors happen but we weren't happy because of the already +$250 change and THEY do all the paper work, NOT the customer. Then they adjust the account annually for escrow changes and you guessed it, that changed as well!!! 2013 went to ~$1700. Because they were over collecting. 2014 went to ~$2250. NO matter all the calls to them, they wouldn't listen that they made mistakes and were collecting too much. 2015 went to ~$1800 suprise because of the over collect that they wouldn't listen too in the first place! 2016 was ~$1900 2017 won't know until next month. This company is not BBB accredited for a reason. So lucky for us, we could afford the payment change. What they are doing to customers should be illegal. So the recent issue is they CAN'T find our flood policy and want to purchase it on our behalf. It was sent to them twice, and guess what they paid it from our escrow. They have the warning letters wrong with the incorrect insurance company and the wrong policy number so I'm not sure who's loan they have mixed into ours.....So long story, if you don't want a huge headache with lots of stress stay AWAY from Country Place Mortgage. We are only with them because of the interest rate and it's a manufactured home which not all lenders offer. Best of luck with your home purchase!
