  The first thing the agent did was run my credit before ever talking to me about my taxes or income, which lead to a denial and drop of 46 points to my good score. Not pleased they weren’t able to help me first.

  Brandon is very unprofessional and doesn’t represent Denali Home Loans well! I’ve been a member of Denali for over 30 years and it’s very disappointing that they hire such incompetent and unprofessional employees. This shows that their management is not looking out for the best interest of members. If I was Brandon’s manager I would look into his unethical and unprofessionalism, before they get reported for their shady practices. I’m very displeased with how they handled my refinance. Please go elsewhere for refinancing your home loan or you may pay the ultimate price...

  Denali FCU was easy and pleasant to work with however as soon as you close on the loan it will be sold to Wells Fargo and they have been awful to work with. Even something as simple as getting the phone number on my account corrected has taken multiple attempts. They somehow only call my parents house and a work phone number I have. Stay away unless you want a headache

While Wells Fargo has certain privacy restrictions, if you will share the specific information that needs to be corrected with the manager of the home loan department by calling us at 907-257-1601 or 800-764-1123 Ext. 1601, we will reach out to them to verify that the information has been corrected. Denali Home Loans has two other correspondent relationship options for servicing loans we close, but in many cases the lowest rate is with Wells Fargo.   My introduction was a home buying course they had done by Katie Jan and some other professionals. This paved the way for my fiancée and I to be first time home buyers when the time was right. Our experience with the home loan process was mostly with Katie Jan as well. She was above accommodating in meeting with us at times that really worked for our schedules. Katie is kind and very interested in couples knowing the process. She spent extra hours meeting with us, answering lots of questions, and exploring the steps that remained. Katie worked great with our realtor Rowena Pediangco! She helped give us advice on some of the better insurance options in town. My fiancée continued to feel heard, respected, and safe through the whole process. Katie worked long hours to ensure the process was met step by step correctly. Some of the money clarifying steps are confusing in general but we worked together through it to make sure the underwriters had everything they needed. Katie was present when we were closing which again is a testimony of her diligence and integrity of her work ethic. All of our talks helped us close informed. Katie and Rowena also worked on items in preparation for closing that benefits us throughout all of 2018! Months of extra support in different financial ways, a major blessing.

  Yeah "customer service" is a joke and they do bleed there "member" dry every which way to Sunday! I've been a member for over 2 decades and it's gone worse and worse thru out the years. Watch out for the hidden "fees" and shady practices they like to do(lock your account all because I was going thru a hard time and was past due on my CC and they knwi that and when I finally got paid I couldn't even transfer from my checking to that CC to pay the bill, they changed me a late fee because they wouldn't allow me to transfer a payment note I can withdraw any cash from my other accounts, so they are hold my checking account hostage till the card is paid off, great customer/blood bag service). I'm going to another bank here today the last straw was pulled today.
