  My family was in the process of negotiating a contract with the seller. J.B Nutter was unavailable on a MONDAY to confirm proof of our loan so the seller went with another offer. The listing agent reached out to J.B. Nutter via email/phone and he did not contact the listing agent back. We were told he was out on his "lunch break". I reached out multiple times and was unable to reach him as well. I never received a phone call or email back from Ronald. This is unacceptable in this business! My family lost out on a home due to J.B. Nutter! Do not work with this company!

  DO NOT USE THEM!!! Save yourself the hassle and headaches!! James B. Nutter is awful at processing loan paperwork in a timely manner and getting it correct the first time. I did a "streamline refinance" for a loan they already held and it took THREE MONTHS. For the closing I had to come back THREE times to complete paperwork because the closing department didn't have all of my papers together. All of the delays and extra hassle was from lack of organization on their part. I will NEVER use them for a future loan. I suggest you don't even start with them.

  Do not send me your dirty tactics. It wont work! Sending a qoute with a BIG BOLD name of my lender ( to make me believe its from them?) and few inches down below in TINY, LITTLE PRINT of "nutter home loans blah blah blah".... you guys are obviously deceptive in your ads. You need to be reported.

  This bank will treat you like a person. If you are looking for a great lender, you have got to refinance with them. They do what they say, and they say what they mean. In today's world of banking, you need to be able to trust there are no hidden fees, and they won't change your loan without you even being consulted (yes, my other lender did exactly that). You have got to refinance with them!

  Matt Elder was friendly, knowledgeable, polite, extremely helpful, and readily available to us. We had a terrific experience with James B Nuter & Co & will never go anywhere else for our mortgage needs. Thanks to everyone at the company for making this so easy!

  You can definitely tell who may be employees or people who were asked to do reviews by how some of these reviews are worded.I've dealt with this company as an insurance agent many times and I can tell you the experience is not good. They are slow, they are not friendly at all, and they cause a lot of trouble with escrow/impound accounts. I would not recommend anyone do business with this mortgage company.

  Actual local customer service representatives that get things done for you - We recently sold our house and needed the payoff documentation sent to the title company ASAP, as our title company dropped the ball and did not request it until last minute. I called JBN and actually spoke to a real person here in KC and they had the power to fix the problem. They sent over the paperwork to the title company immediately. I appreciate the hard work and customer service they provided

  Mark was very professional and patiently explained the process involved in refinancing my loan, He was always quick to respond to any question I had. Since I am technologically challenged, he made time at my convience for me to come to the office and sign when needed. He represented the JB Nutters Company in a very professional and customer friendly manner.

  I would never use this company again for a Mortgage, my family is homeless now due to this company who I was already with since 2008 before I sold my previous property, two months ago. I was preapproved to get a contract on a house, and then they were to close on the 19th of Dec, and they were very rude to me and my realtor, and they don't check email, then they changed my closing to the 29th, and by now they wouldn't even talk to me on the phone bc I am the buyer, and now they can't get my mortgage closed, title company said they are waiting for JB Nutter to finish my loan, and so I am having my loan transferred to another mortgage company and they still havn't transfered my loan. So I am stuck in a motel in a rural town near where I am suppose to be buying my house waiting for a loan transfer. Beware of this company because I am regretting using JB NUTTER.

  Whoever "Jane" supervisor is needs to take a customer service class. She argued with me regarding that she mentioned my mortgage increase was due to increased taxes which is a total lie. If so I wouldn't have called back several times inquiring or sent in money for the escrow shortage. To top it off when you leave a message with your number to call back no one does. James B. Nutter may need to start screening their phone calls because I wouldn't recommend them due to their poor customer service.
