Madaline Luher5i think Lyons bank has changed too much. can’t use drive in to make deposit or withdraw. what a bummer. poor seniors, difficult getting innand out of car because now we have to park and go in and wait in line. what kind of a thing is that. i’m happy once i get in and to somebody who can help me with my banking. Destiny Masey1LOBBY IS CLOSED and they give no mention of that until you are about to walk in and the run up to you. Not a comfortable feeling at a bank. Takes forever. They are pretty rude and tell you your receipt and ID card are coming back many minutes before you actually get it. Thought they took my card because of the lack in communication. All they wanted to do was send me to another location. It was a simple deposit and they shouldn’t be so rude when receiving money. LOBBY IS CLOSED.
Response from the ownerHi Destiny, our Lyons branch is getting a much-deserved remodel, so our lobby has been closed for construction for a few months. Feel free to check out our website and social media pages for remodel updates. We're sorry to hear you didn't have a positive experience with us - we strive to provide stellar service to every member, so we'll make sure to share this feedback with leadership.

Christine Qwe2This review is not just for this branch but Numerica in general. I have been with Numerica for almost 10 years. We even kept our account with them when we moved across the state, now I wish we would have just switched completely. Multiple times been on hold for almost an hour to speak to someone. When you press the call back button, no one calls back. I have done this with more than one number, so it's not me. Not ony that, I have also had a bad experience with speaking to a home loan officer where no one called me back and I had to call multiple times to get ahold of anyone. At this point we are probably going to switch banks.

Lindsay DeHaas1My first time buying a home with was an absolute disaster with Numerica, specifically the loan officer, Miranda Moen. We were locked in a rate for 184 days and had FIVE extensions on the closing date. We were supposed to close in August of 2020 and February 2021 came (6 whole months later) and still no end in sight. Miranda would never email or call me back, I had to reach out to the general manager of the branch to get ahold of someone to see where we were at in the loan. So finally after 6 months of terrible communication and honestly just lack of knowledge and any work ethic whatsoever, we finally left them. We went to Hunter Zier who closed our house in 26 days even with having to order a new appraisal AND we got a significantly better rate. I urge you to please do your research before turning to them for a loan. I hope this will help someone from making the mistake I did.
Response from the ownerHi Lindsay, our home lending team works hard to support every member through their home-buying journey, and we’re sorry we didn’t meet the mark this time. Thank you for giving one of our managers the opportunity to talk through the specifics with you when this happened.

Joseph Perez1If I can share just one piece of take-home advice with you I would say that you should NOT get a home loan through Numerica. Ive been with Numerica since I was 16 and thought they were great ever since, but if you expect communication and Integrity during a loan process I swear to you at the very minimum go to another branch. If you have the ability go with another credit union then DO! Good luck to you all who actually see this! Im saddened and upset at the level the Numerica staff and Boss have performed throughout my process and the sheer lack of responsibility they hold themselves accountable too. They simply do not know what they are doing and could care less about time requirements of your home process. The end goal is to keep the shareholders in the green.
Response from the ownerHi Joseph, we are sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience with us. We’ve shared your feedback to make sure we do better next time.

Zackery Heck1Been with you for over a year. Made all my payments on time and have paid off a loan even. In a rough time where I need car maintenance I tried to up my existing loan however you refused. Why am I banking and building history with Numerica if you wont assist me when needed? At this point I'm debating on paying off what I owe and going to a different Credit Union. I have a great payment history but the theme here seems to be the word no. Not satisfied with the decisions you've made. I used to recommend you to everyone I know but at this point you're just like any average bank. Won't be recommending Numerica to anyone anymore. What's the point of good payment history if it does nothing but get me denied?
Response from the ownerHi Zackery: We appreciate your membership and taking the time to place a review about your recent experience. We can understand how this would be frustrating and hope that future interactions with our team turn you back into a satisfied member. I have checked in with Josh and Ashlynn at our Lyons branch and they would love to give you a call to talk further about why we weren’t able to extend the loan at this time. Please email [email protected] if you’d like them to reach out.

Kristina Heth1My husband called this branch and was placed on hold for over an hour he finally hung up after this branch closed. I don't think this is very good service it would seem that the clients are not of any real concern to this establishment
Response from the ownerHi Kristina, thank you for sharing your concerns. We're sorry our phone wait times have been longer than usual lately. We want to serve our members quickly, so we’ve been hiring more team members to address the issue. Thank you for your patience!
