  Decent bank but they go overboard with convenience fees. I pay 200/month for a special account and they still charge me $25 a wire, $5 to send me a e-statement, stuff that is way easier and free with larger banks. Decent bank, but the fact that I have to wait for someone to call me back anytime I call is concerning. There have been emergency situations when I’ve called and had to wait several hours before getting a call back. This is why I do not keep most of my money at this bank.

  After 15+ years of banking with NWCU, they closed my account today, 10 minutes after I deposited a third of a deficit I was working to pay off, and shut down my online access right as I was preparing to deposit the remainder of what I owed. I was literally logged into my account 10 minutes prior, making sure my earnings had deposited when they cancelled my account. When I called them to fix the access, because I was trying to pay them, they refused to reverse it and permanently closed my account. But hey, they said I could reapply! They are now withholding access to my financial statements because they want more money for that when I had the access to do it myself earlier in the day. I'm trying to do my taxes and I need my bank statements, which they refuse to give me without these fees. They also turned me down for a small business loan because I didn't have enough earnings in 2020... Like, WHO HAD EARNINGS DURING THE PANDEMIC?! So many people were out of work and so many businesses closed in 2020. I was just trying to get my business back on its feet in 2021 when this occurred. This from a bank who's employees didn't even know how many instant transfers were allowed in a 24 hour period until I called the corporate office and asked to speak to a manager about why my transfers weren't going though when I was trying to pay my rent. The word "Community" should be removed from their branding. I stayed with a local bank because I've always been told that small credit unions were better. They're just the same soulless corporations as bigger companies. Thank you for making more work for me, NWCU. No, I won't be reapplying and I'm reporting your "customer service" to the BBB.

  SO FRUSTRATED with their online interface and debit card functionality. I am constantly receiving fraud alert calls (plus accompanying account holds) for standard transactions (like Uber, Lyft, and Paypal) which limits when I can use my card. This weekend I couldn’t use my card at all (and couldn’t withdrawal at an ATM nor even transfer to another member) because I exceeded some arbitrarily transaction frequency limit I’ve never encountered before. I cannot access any of my money, which leaves me unable to buy gas, food, pay bills, and more. I cannot contact anyone as their hours are limited on Saturday and they’re closed on Sunday. Unacceptable. I’m closing my account as soon as I can on Monday. Moving to a bank with more modern and functional policies and online infrastructure. In-person staff have always been helpful and courteous, but they can’t make up for the terrible experience I’ve had trying to use an NWCU debit card.

  I received excellent service when setting up an account with Northwest Community Credit Union. JC Lee made the process as straightforward as possible and went above and beyond in making sure all of my requirements were met. I cannot recommend JC or NWCU highly enough. I have especially appreciated the online check deposit feature in the NWCU app, as well as the personal attention provided whenever I have had any questions.

  I prefer credit unions to banks. This one has been really great for me. I have a checking account, savings account, credit card and I used to have a car loan through them. Their interest rates for the credit card and car loan were excellent.

  Northwest Community Credit Union have been my financial advisors and bankers for 15 plus years,ever since they took over clientele for O.U.R. Credit Union. Highly recommended. Very friendly and prompt service.

  This bank is garbage. My account balance is usually wrong and mixed up over the weekend so i don't know what i have to spend. They won't let me buy crypto because in their opinion crypto isn't safe (like it isn't my money). I get denied shopping online all the time and have to call and ask permission to use my card. It's like a bank account where they tell you what you can and can't do with your money. I'm currently trying to find another bank. Don't put your money here.

  I refinanced mortgage with NWCU. They helped me from beginning to end with uncommon care. Nate was so professional helping me and my family through the whole process with such great service and care. JC and SY provided a level of service i had never experienced before; they visited our business office to help me understand the terms and conditions in Korean language and also help me with digital application and follow-ups. Thank you to NWCU for giving us new and special experience and care.

  NWCU staffs has been dream team to work with. Nate Bill was big help on all the steps during the loan process. He responded promptly to any questions we had, was great to work with. He made us whole process very comfortable and gave us best outcome. We feel very lucky to work with him. Heather is very knowledgeable, experienced, but most importantly she is beautiful person inside and out. We feel very welcomed and cared by her personal services. JC and SY are absolutely amazing people. We wouldn’t know about NWCUwithout them. They kept us constantly informed during the loan process. What amazed us that they still care about us and contact us even after the loan process closed. We feel like they are very passionate on helping our community specially connecting with NWCU. NWCU team has been so helpful and can’t say enough good things about them. We strongly recommend!!
