  Great local credit union! They have everything the big banks have. The staff is always helpful and truly cares about their members. They don’t want to see anyone struggle, and they’ll never put you in a situation that would become a financial burden. Really appreciate their honesty and helpful approach to solving problems. Never any judgement!!

  We have been patrons for over 20 years. Highly recommend the auto loan process - couldn't have been easier! I tried other banks and even the dealership and NRCCU offered the best rate, and the process was so smooth. Thanks to Becky for her diligence and professionalism.

  I have been a member at NorthRidge community credit union in Hoyt Lakes for almost 2 years now, and can’t believe it took me this long to become a member. The staff is very professional and got me organized in a Kasasa account. I make more in benefits in a month than I did in 2 years with Wells Fargo. NorthRidge has all the benefits of a big bank plus a lot more. As a 51 year old, I make sure to let young new savers to make sure they checkout NorthRidge to gain the most out of their financial account! I’ll be a lifer now.

  Been doing business with HLCCU/NRCCU for over 25 years. The last time I asked them for an auto loan I was shocked at how low my credit score was they told me I had. It was way lower than credit karma told me I was,lower than Wells Fargo said I was. The reason they pull and use your lowest credit number is to benefit themselves with higher interest rates. I saved over 3% on the interest rate by using another bank to buy my car. Thanks for nothing NRCCU

While we do strive to offer the best interest rates we possibly can, we know there will be occasions that we do not have the lowest rate in certain circumstances, and that's okay! We are happy to hear you found such a great rate for your car!! When it comes to credit scores, there are so many different variables involved. Everyone has multiple credit scores that can change (sometimes drastically) month by month, and they are different from one credit bureau to the next because of the different scoring models.   The staff are very friendly. I go through NRCCU for all my financing needs. Becky is an excellent loan officer, provides fast, friendly and outstanding service! Thank you Becky and the entire team!!! Highly recommend NRCCU.

  They literally sent me a notice that they planned to start charging me if I didn't start spending my savings. They wouldn't let me close my account over the phone and couldn't go in person because of covid, so I just had them send me a check for my balance minus my membership fee. Used to be a good credit union until Northridge took over

We do want to encourage our members to save, however, there are certain state and federal rules and regulations regarding dormant accounts that we must follow as a financial institution. We do want to acknowledge that the way your account closure was handled could have been better. It is our intention to consistently provide excellent member service, and it seems that we were not able to do that for you. Due to COVID, we were attempting to navigate new ways to serve our members while still staying within the rules and regulations we were all required to follow.   Today I had an interaction via phone call with a representative named Rebecca W. She was rude and very impatient. She was calling me in regards to an address change but since I have moved she was not able to reach me via mail hence the address change. When I explained to her that in 6 months I am appalled to hear that no one has called when my phone number is clearly in the system, I know this because she reached me on my cell. As I was speaking to her she repeatedly kept interrupting me and asking me who I was taking to. This is extremely unprofessional on her behalf. I have banked here for over 15 years and my family has banked here for nearly 30 years. So sad to see such a wonderful credit union go down hill in the past few years. Shortly after posting this review I did speak to upper management and my problem was resolved. What I find the most interesting is for a location that had no reviews all of a sudden there is a few referencing the worker I had issues with today which lets me know that My privacy has been violated and Rebecca has gone out to her friends and discussed this matter and my personal business with them in request of better reviews. Very sad.

  I have only had positive experiences with this credit union. They are very kind and do all they can to help where needed!! Definately would recommend to everyone!!! Staff are amazing too especially Rebecca!
