  Phenomenal customer service. I was initially drawn to this company for its Christian values and after talking to a few of the staff members I was really blown away with how helpful and kind they were. Emily helped me out so much. Overall it was a great experience.

  CEO Alan Lierz is one of the best men I know of, I have dealt with him on many different levels, he is out going and willing to give you the shirt off his back. He has helped me and my family in more then enough ways possible. I cannot thank this man enough. I am appalled by the negative reviews that I have read about this man and the bank he works for. He is the poster child for in God We Trust. I say Thank You Alan for being the outstanding being that I am proud to call My Christian Brother!!!

  Alan and the folks at New Century Bank in Manhattan, KS are AWESOME to work with! They are a truly faith-based, faith-led bank that you will love. They make things very easy and quick and are so caring and encouraging to all. Our construction loan thru New Century has been the most painless loan we've ever done - and that's saying a lot becuz we don't like dealing with loan stuff!! :-) Highly recommend you seeing Alan and the folks at New Century.   Great service. They have the feel of a small town bank (which I love) they always remembered my name, even if I hadn’t been in for months at a time. The staff here are nothing but patient and helpful. Tyler and Jan in particular have helped me a lot with getting the documents I needed for a home loan, even though I wasn’t using New Century! Nothing but compliments.

  Before I go any further $27,000 in closing cost! $27,000 is not a mistake! $27,000 is what they charge in a day and age ohers have $0 closing cost! That amounts to about 27,000 reasons to pass this lender right on by! Actually about 27,002, those last two haft to do with trying to pass themselves off as "a good Christian lender in the Bible belt with their "10 Commandments of lending" and intentionally trying to GIG AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH EXCESSIVE LOAN FEE'S! MAYBE THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 11 COMMANDMENTS,, THAT 11TH ONE BEING... "THALL SHALL NOT LOOK TO THROW THE SCREWS TO THY NEIGHBOR"! I WORDED THINGS A LOT KINDER THAN THE ACTION YOUR LOOKING TO INFLICT ON YOUR NEIGHBORS... ONLY A FOUR LETTER WORD BEST DESCRIBES IT AND IT ENDS IN "ing"!!! I Would have been more sympathetic & empathetic in this review of this lender had they not been so proactive in a (and I quote my good friend) "Break it off in you" approach! And there you have it... 27,002 reasons and counting to keep moving right along in your search for a good construction to end loan lender!

  We do not know who this person is. We have no record phone calls, emails or their application. We track all these by client name. An application is required before a bank can provide a loan estimate including closing cost. We have never had a mortgage with closing cost as much as this person is claiming. Sometimes people confuse other banks with similar names from different parts of the country. It could be that a down payment is confused for closing costs. The complaint is widely inaccurate.
