  I interviewed multiple brokers, banks, and the online "mortgage shopping" websites and I could not recommend Houston White enough. He didn't hold back - he came out aggressive on rate, brought creative solutions to the table, and was essential to securing me a home in this hyper-competitive market. He locked in a quick 21 day close even with a double heloc solution without issue.

  Highly recommended!! I have worked with Jim and his team for many years now. The process with his team has always been efficient and smooth. Jim is honest and professional and he always has exceeded my expectations. I always feel like Jim and his team treat my needs as a priority, even though I know they are very busy. I really appreciate that! Jim and Neighborhood Mortgage will continue to get my business in the future.

  I highly recommend Neighborhood Mortgage. Daniel Rosemont made my first time buying very easy and comfortable in 2016. He has helped in 2021 to refinance to a lower interest rate for my home. He is awesome!

  Our experience with Neighborhood Mortgage was very different from other reviews. Our agent recommended Neighborhood Mortgage to us and we thought it would work out very nicely, especially after seeing so many positive reviews. However, it was not that case. There service was not terrible but absolutely not worth of 5-stars or even 4-stars. 1) Not responsive: They replied our email not in a timely manner and sometimes even after three days. We tried to act quickly and submitted all the documents in time, but they just had us waiting for days without even acknowledging they received the documents! We had to chase them and asked for confirmation. 2) Not respective of our questions: Being first-time home buyers, we were nervous and stressed about the whole process. Neighborhood Mortgage didn't help with it and made it worse. Every time we asked them questions regarding the loan process, they seemed to be very hasty and impatience. I felt like my questions were not welcomed and I was even afraid of asking them questions in the end. As a summary, we were very disappointed about Neighborhood Mortgage. The experience we had with them was absolutely not a happy one.

  We could not have been more pleased with the speed, capability, knowledge and kindness of our ‘mortgage guy’! Houston White was top notch from start to finish! Our refi was done quickly, efficiently and what an amazing rate we got! We wholehearted recommend our friend, Houston White and team!

  I was a first time home buyer and Neighborhood Mortgage made the process smooth and easy. Houston was incredible, and guided me step by step. He had no problem explaining things when I didn't understand them and was available at all times. Him and Laura were my go to people and they made me feel like I was armed with everything I needed to feel confident about my purchase. I am homeowner now and couldn't be happier with my experience.

  We had a great experience with Neighborhood Mortgage. Jennifer was very professional and easy to work with. They were able to close both our refinance and our second home mortgage very quickly. They used common sense and didn't waste our time with unnecessary paperwork or questions. They were very knowledge about both type of mortgages and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely be using them again.
