  The staff at this location is absolutely incompetent. The office lost my request to cancel homeowners. The office did not add a new vehicle. The office removed the wrong car from the policy and reported a lapse in coverage to the state. The office was unable and/or unwilling to provide written quotes or policy details. It takes weeks if not months for policy changes to reflect online, weeks to mail proof of insurance, and months to process any refunds. I honestly have no idea what I was charged for over the last six months and am still waiting on a refund check after finally giving up and cancelling service. Corporate was only moderately helpful but clearly have no intention of taking any action to ensure their offices are being run correctly.

  This is the worst insurance in Chapel Hill....Matt Deitz is the most incompetent insurance agent I have ever had in 50 years. They tried to add drivers to my insurance with no proof and then told me I had to prove that they had insurance. In the process I called other insurance and found out that they were charging me three times the amout for minimal insurance. Needless to say check around and you will find they are charging way to much you can get much better insurance and better coverage without the hassle of them raising your rates and adding people who do not drive your vehicles.

  We have the best agent in North Carolina. Robbie Norris always goes above and beyond for us. He is never pushy but always gives us the best options that fit the right thing for our family. He is kind, prompt and just an all around great person. We had less than great experiences with other agents but with Robbie he has our business for life. Thank you to Robbie and his wonderful office. I would recommend him hands down to anyone i know. Can't get any better than the absolute best!!!

  I have worked with Robbie Norris, NC Farm Bureau insurance agent, for about 12 years. Plus I have known him practically my whole life. Personally, he has assisted me and my family on many insurance related products and he has given me extremely helpful advice to keep our family protected at an affordable price. Additionally, I am a mortgage loan officer and have referred many clients to Robbie because of his integrity, attention to detail, ability to find solutions, response time, product, and pricing.   We have been very impressed by the responsiveness and friendliness of our agent, Michael Decker. I’ve had auto 2 incidents recently and I was able to call Michael and he walked me through everything as soon as I called and continues to follow up. Farm Bureau also insured my home as a first time home buyer and worked closely with our realtor and mortgage company to make the process seamless for us. I would definitely recommend this company and Michael as an agent. The level of service and competence is above any other company in this industry that I’ve worked with.

  Robbie and I meet just about 2 years ago and I asked for an insurance review of all my policies. He not only gave me excellent advice and guidance I was able to get better coverage than I originally had and at a considerable savings. I could not be more pleased with his service. I went from having an agent I never heard from to a trusted advisor!

  5 stars are not enough. Robbie Norris saved us tons of money with our home and auto policies (even with a new teen driver). More then that, Robbie is always....ALWAYS available when needed. I would have never dreamed I could text my insurance agent and get a response. Whenever I've needed him, (evening, weekends...you name it), Robbie answered. It's very comforting knowing your answers are only a phone call/text away.

  Matt is not only my agent, but I consider him a good friend. He has made it very clear and demonstrated that he will answer the phone at anytime, because providing quality service is in his DNA. He's a small town guy, in the best way. He supports his community. He gets to know his customers. And he does his best to be fair and provide the best rates he can. His staff are great too.

  Michael Decker is HIGHLY recommended! I work as a financial advisor and have always had a hard time finding an insurance agent to refer clients to. Michael never up-sells or oversells, but consults with his clients and only recommends what is needed to protect a client from financial loss. He sells no investment products, and for my own insurance talked me into a less expensive product than I went to him for. He's worked with several of my clients, and not once have I felt he's recommended a solution that wasn't absolutely in a clients best interest. If you're looking for someone to help with your insurance needs, than look no further. Michael is great!!
