  I came here the other day to get some money out and I was so lucky to get my card stuck in the machine at first I was scared but then I went inside and spoke with one of the employees and she explained to me that she was going to go turn off the machine and then it would skip my card out all this took less than 10 minutes and she did it with a smile... when I went out side to the ATM to received my card I heard her on the other side ask did you get your card miss lavender? It was like on the jetsonson ...seemed like the machine was talking ..it just made my day I thought I was going to be there so much longer I appreciate the staff at Navy Federal's are always sooo nice and helpful I've been with them for 15 years and I wouldn't Bank anywhere else

  Navy Federal provides some of the worst customer service I've experienced at any bank. Their mortgage loan processors are terrible, don't communicate, and in one instance outright lied to me. Additionally, recently I went to this particular branch to have two documents notarized. I called the day before to check if, a) the would notarize those particular document types (which were related to a property for which Navy Federal provides the mortgage), and b) if they would have a notary working the next day. I was placed on hold while the customer service rep said they were calling this exact branch to verify they would be able to accommodate my request. After returning, she indicated that it would be no problem to notarize a warranty deed and seller's affidavit, and, "yes", they would have a notary on site the next day. When I showed up to take care of this business, the lady checking in banking customers was rude and dismissive, and the branch then claimed, that a) they would not notarize those documents, and b) their notary wasn't working. Wells Fargo accommodated my request...

  Customer service was superb! Friendly and helpful folks. They also do a great job handling with ‘difficult’ mean customers (there are always those people everywhere), but they handle it with a smile and class! Always love seeing employees go above and beyond that take the higher road 👍🏽Happy for a great NFCU branch in the area!

  Out of all the Navy Federal offices this one has the worst customer service. I rather travel a bit further to another location. I'm giving it 2 stars because I've dealt with one good person there who was very helpful. Other than this location, I enjoy Navy Federal and hope that they fix the issue when it comes to customer service and not having people who get annoyed to do their job or rub customers the wrong way. The branch near Walmart and the real estate office has been my go to in Oceanside.

  I have always received top notch service from Navy Federal Credit Union! Easy to get in and out with great service agents. Also the hours are great so you can get in touch with any personnel to help you with a loan or answer questions regarding your accounts.

  I have a checking and savings account at navy federal credit union. I like this location because the bank tellers are always very friendly and helpful with any financial questions that I have. Navy federal credit is a very safe location because there is a lot of security cameras inside this location. I also like the greeter at the front counter she or he is very helpful in answering any financial questions that I have regarding my checking or savings account. I also don’t have to fill out a withdrawal slip or a deposit slip all the paperwork is done by the bank teller so it saves me a lot of time in the process.

  Best bank I have ever had. They are quick, friendly, and reliable. I have already checked to make sure there is a Navy Federal near us in TX when my husband and I move.

  I am a member at a different credit union, and I don't have any local branches. The tellers here have never been helpful when I need something done by a person. ATM works fine for automated transactions, but the purpose of having a Credit Union network is that when you are away from your specific branches you still have financial access. I've had tellers flat out tell me "we only do that for our members", even for minor things like breaking bills or getting quarters. I use Pacific Marine CU instead without incident.

  This bank controls NFCU ATM's at 1096 Oceanside Blvd CA. The ATM malfunctioned which resulted in a missing deposit. Although it took longer than expected the error was corrected and the Branch Manager was both understanding and courteous and explained the delay which was greatly appreciated.

  Good to go, my only wish is that they didn't offer services to civilians. Navy Federal should only serve Active, Reserves, Retired and individuals who served that recieved an Honorable Discharge. The only exception should be immediate family members of the above mentioned.
