  Working with Eagle Nest was an absolute pleasure! We had the unfortunate experience of trying to buy in a seller’s market. The choices were slim and moving quickly, but Mike really went out of his way to understand our budget, tastes, and needs. He picked up on our tastes very quickly and didn’t waste any time finding homes or pressing other agents for us. Moreover, my wife and I were first-time buyers, so a lot of the nuances to house-hunting (mortgages, insurance, etc.) were an overload, but Mike made the whole process seamless and very clear. He never shied away from explaining and answering our questions – he would often explain background information that really helped clarify the bigger picture around loans, taxes, or insurance. He’s been in the CA real estate world for a long time, so he has a wealth of knowledge surrounding trends, laws, taxes, or developments. He was always willing to work with any last-minute demands or requests, and he was quick to reach if we needed him. Mike was very trustworthy. We never doubted that he had our best interests at heart. I would highly recommend Eagle Nest to any friends or family that would be buying/selling in the area!

  Eagle Nest Realty helped me buy and sell my house. As a first time home buyer, it was important to me that I had someone I could trust to walk me through the process. Mike and Ted Erickson are fantastic realtors and total class acts. They walked me through every question I had and helped me get into a great home for a great price. Due to my initial positive experience with Eagle Nest, they were the first I thought of when it came time to sell. I received the same quality service my second time around. Ted even took time out of his day to help me clean up my backyard before we listed the house because he knew it would be a tough job for one person. I did not ask him to do this nor pay him for it, he just saw a problem and decided he would help. This is the kind of quality service you can expect from Eagle Nest. I truly cannot say enough good things about this company and the Erickson family. Do yourself a favor and use them!!!

  SUPERIOR SERVICE YOU CAN COUNT ON I have known of Eagles Nest Realty & Mike Erickson for years. I used Mike when I bought the property years ago (along with several other neighbors) and definitely would not use anyone but Eagle Next to sell the property. Mike and his team are honest, trustworthy, professional and reliable. The service provided is beyond superb by the entire team from Mike to his son, Ted, along with Nicki. It takes a "village" and all personnel associated with Eagle Nest Realty are consummate professionals (including the notary) making the entire process from beginning to end seamless. Always available to answer questions and never overlooking any details along with being very informative so you know what to expect. Definitely a Standard of Excellence which I will not hesitate to recommend over and over again.

  Mike is a true representation of someone who can be trusted and counted on. It’s not easy grasping housing concepts, especially in the current market. Mike not only helped me understand how to manage my expectations but managed to keep me calm and patient while he helped me find a home! I am a nervous fella, especially given the fact that I was about to spend to almost a million dollars! Mike always made me feel comfortable and took my calls day and night. It felt more like he was my smart Uncle than my real estate professional! He had my best interest in mind and put my preferences over his potential profit! It doesn’t get better than Mike, honesty and integrity are his best assets. But his friendliness and caring are a very close second! Do yourself a favor... Use Eagle Nest Realty and tell Mike that Roger sent ya!

  My wife and I wanted to write a review for Mike Erickson at Eagle Nest Realty & Mortgage. Our loan was a complicated loan and he was able to give us superior service every step of the process. I highly recommend Mike Erickson for his knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail. He took the time to explain the loan process for us from start to finish in detail. When we had roadblocks in the process he problem solved and over came VERY difficult issues. We will absolutely use Mike again for any loan transactions in the future and highly recommend him to members of our family and friends.

  We used Mike Erickson and his team to buy our house 6yrs ago. Half the process was conducted while I was deployed to Afghanistan. We just used him again to sell the house. This time we we’re living in Japan then moved to Utah while selling the house in California. Mike and his team did an amazing job coordinating paint and repairs both while renters were in the house and immediately after which greatly reduce the time to list the house for sale. His creation and coordination of paperwork through the entire process greatly reduced the stress and I knew he had our best interests in mind. All of his recommendations were solid and timely. We just closed on the house three days early largely in part to Mike’s hard work and attention to detail. I would highly recommend him to any close friend without hesitation. If we ever find ourselves back in California I will only use Mike and his team.

  This review is unsolicited. Mike is an absolute professional and I will enthusiastically refer him to any of my friends or family looking to buy a home. On a very short timeline (and knowing very little about the area) we moved across the country to Oceanside, CA. Along the way, we felt a large sense of ease working with Mike as our experienced Realtor and Mortgage Broker. From the home search, to the offers, to the financing, we never once felt rushed or that any question was too small. Mike is knowledgeable, detailed, and very level-headed. He is an ethical, stand-up guy with a great reputation in Oceanside. Long after the deal was done, Mike continued to line up contractors (HVAC, roof, painting) so that our home was turn-key by the time we arrived.   Our loan started at another institution and was met with an obstacle that appeared to be a dead end. So, I decided to try a broker and went through the web, looked at a couple, called one, they didn’t answer. Proceeded to call Mr. Erickson’s and he actually answered the phone. I felt good about this interaction already. Our family had experienced a series of huge crisis and he calmly explained and helped me understand the process and possibilities. I could tell he knew what he was doing because he explained it in a way I could understand. He was ALWAYS diligent, patient, professional and prompt. We had several people involved in our loan and he made them all feel important, needed and always answered repetitive questions. I am just amazed at his capability and to pull this loan off after meeting close to 20 contingencies. I really don’t think another could of done this loan or would have cared enough to. It’s so nice and refreshing to have good people in a business world that aren’t just looking out for their next dollar. To say we are grateful is an understatement. Thank you Mr. Erickson

  After conducting an on-line search for a qualified and knowledgeable real estate agent, and interviewing a handful of uninspiring candidates, I found Mike Erickson of Eagle’s Nest Realty & Mortgage, Inc. We were moving from a river front property along the American River in Sacramento to Oceanside. Mike really was a breath of fresh air to talk with and guess what….. he really listens! I learned that Mike has lived and worked in Oceanside for the past 31 years and knows the neighborhoods and the home styles.   When we contacted Mike it was through a referral from a friend who had an awesome experience. Without having any idea of what to expect we gave him a shot to help us buy our first house. My only regret is that no other realty company will come close to the bar Mike has set! Thorough and extremely professional; Mike helped usher us through an utterly complicated process including where to look, what we could actually afford, and strategies for making offers. He found us the perfect house on our first day out looking! Mike made the paperwork a breeze and was very patient explaining every document that needed a signature. He made himself available to answer our questions even beyond regular working hours. If you are looking for a VA loan Mike is well versed given that he is a veteran himself! About a year after we closed we got a call from Mike and he explained that refinancing was a very good option right now as rates are lower than ever. Once again he made the process entirely painless and now we are paying less for our mortgage. If you want an honest realtor and a great transaction pick up the phone and call Mike right now!
