      They get ZERO STARS! horrible customer service. Also, I called for a buyout and they processed the buyout amount PLUS 1 month payment. Everytime I call them they keep telling me a supervisor will handle the issue and process a refund however each time I call to get a status on my account regarding this issue a their supervisor is in a "meeting" complete BS. AVOID THIS COMPANY! Do not do business with them. I record all my calls with them and I will definitely take matters into my own hands to get my money refunded to me plus the overdraft fees my bank charged me. I wish I'd never did this lease for my furniture. And as a previous person stated in a review about the " yes I did, no you didn't" arguments I've dealt with that as well with a rep named Melanie

      I used this finance company aka Wags to purchase my new puppy. Be aware at the store to read the contract that you sign. Unfortunately I trusted what the store told me and signed and initialed 8 pages of agreement. Come to find out when I received a mail version from Monterey it was three times amount I borrowed and that amount immediately showed on my credit report days later . I spiked to CSR and she helped me by making arrangements to pif total amount borrowed with small amount interest to resolve the issue. However I noticed that the monthly payment was still taken as well. When I called for a refund on monthly payment that did promise to contact my bank and process it. I hope they keep their word or I will have to file a dispute with my bank. On a whole so far I appreciate the customer service I have received and hope to put it all behind me

      Why do I have to give them one star to post? They don't deserve!! I had my Medtronic Diabetes insulin pump financed through Monterrey Financial. I was on an automatic monthly account draft, and all was well up until I decided to pay off my remaining balance. When notifying them that I wanted to pay off my balance in full, they disclosed to me that there was no way for them to email or mail me any record of the final transaction, and/or that the balance was paid. All I was told was that the automatic drafts would stop (obviously because there's now a zero balance). However now at the beginning of the following month while checking my bank account, I see that they are automatic drafting out of my account. I called and was first told that I still own $98 ish and that's why it was still drafting. I explained to the man that I paid in full last month, and they were not going to be getting another dollar from me. After placing me on an extremely long extended hold; he told me that the account setting of automatic draft had not been turned off, and that although I had indeed paid in full, internally the account isn't showing a zero balance yet. He asked that if I had sufficient funds in the account to cover the charges, and if not he'd contact the bank to state that it was their fault. If I had funds to cover it, they would refund me within 10 business days. I exclaimed to him that he needs to immediately stop the transaction on their end. If impossible, he needed to email me something stating exactly what he told me. That a refund would be issued within 10 business days. I was informed again that they do have the capabilities to do that. Come on, it's email?!? Throughout this entire interaction his "customer service" skills were completely not present and invisible. Although I did currently have the funds to cover the charge, that money was earmarked for my daughters end of school year festivities. Now I have to explain to my family why we're unable to enjoy the end of the school year due to a financial institutions complete and utter incompetence. I was responsible and not only made the monthly payments, but then PAID IN FULL... They unfortunately lacked the responsibility to stop charging me after it was paid off.

      If I could give negative stars, I would! I used them for financing, and had automatic payments withdrawn. My payment was due on the 2nd and I have direct deposit with the military on the 1st of every month (9/10 times it’s sooner b/c of weekends and holidays) I NEVER had a late payment or returned payment! They would still blow my phone and email up EVERY MONTH for a year, for NO REASON. I’d call back the creditor and EACH time they’d say, “Oh sorry our fault.” After a year I was so annoyed I paid them off in FULL! Thank God I took the name, confirmation #, and every other piece of information possible because now they’re saying on my credit report I was 90, yes, NINETY days LATE. However, every month prior was “Paid on time/In Full/Good Standing. Explain that...glad I also saved every receipt as well. All I’m saying; keep your eyes on these sheisty people, they’re rotten, unorganized, and liars.

      If I had of let the payments run thier course I would have ended up paying 3X the amount of the cost of my dog. Its best to just pay it off asap . They only got me for 200$ in additional cost which is a lot better than 2000$ over the course of 2 years. The customer service is okay but they're very shady in the way the do business and how they explain thier contracts. Its also crazy that if you make payments online they do not show you your balance due.

      Please read before you use their services.This is hands down the most greedy company I have ever seen. They will completely screw you over and not care one bit. Just got off the phone with them and this is why I am writing it. Read the fine print first.

      Never, ever do service with them! They will scam you for more money or send you to collections! My contract stated that the last withdrawal they would make would be on november. Somehow there was another $700 added. I mentioned to them that i have been unemployed and if they can give me time to get a job, I'd pay them in full but they dont make any arrangements. Simply tell you that you can pay $100 and $200 in another week. If you dont pay what they ask for, they will threaten to send you to collections and adding an extra $200.

      I was confused about certain payment fees, and what my overral early payment would be to be able to finish my lease with them, so I decided to call. It was around 1 pm on a weekday , was put on hold for no longer than 2-3 mins and they gave me great customer service. The representative was able to explain everything to me very clearly and was patient with any questions I had. They do have several fees that people would not find pleasing that can seem overwhelming and are very straightforward with their policies so they will not accustom to you very often ( meaning what they say is what they say). This experience may not be the same for everyone but personally today my overral experience during one simple phone call was great, and very helpful!

      I never leave any type of reviews for any businesses as I do not have the time to post things. However, I've made time to post this because if I could give negative stars to this company (if you can actually call this a company) I would!!! They have the most rude staff, they will actually put you on hold if you start complaining (which has never happened to me because all customer service representatives I have spoken to my entire life actually listen to their clients under any circumstances and deal with their frustration because that's why they are customer service representatives) and if your payment is past due by ONE day they will charge you double and make up all type of fees. The only reason why I missed a payment was because my bank switched my card and I was not aware. When I called to provide them with a different card number, my final balance was twice the amount and they took the wrong information down which created more fees and even lied about me giving the wrong information which was not the case. STAY AWAY, do not go with this company UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! you will regret every minute of it!
