  It has been about six months since my reverse mortgage closed and three things are very clear to me: First, a reverse mortgage is indeed an excellent tool for older homeowners who have lots of equity in their homes and want to add flexibility to their financial plans. Second, it's important that folks do their homework and, before proceeding, make sure they understand the product's pros and cons (as I did). And third, once I decided to proceed I couldn't have chosen a better person to work with than Jim Warns of Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. The guidance Jim provided throughout the entire process, from helping me understand the product's complexities all the way through a very smooth closing, was first rate. He is a highly professional straight shooter who I highly recommend.

  Jim is a top notch professional! He works very hard for his clients and is always available for support when needed. I worked with Jim on my reverse mortgage in 2014, and recently on a refinance.   Jim Warns hands down is a "rock star" when it comes to reverse mortgages. He assisted me with my parent's loan and it was a VERY close situation on whether or not they could qualify. He worked with us for months and his diligience, patiience , and problem solving every step of the way made it possible and we were able to successfully close.
