      They don't seem to care about the customers that walk in. I've walked in several times without being greeted! I've also been looked at funny by the "bankers," I'm not sure if it's, because of my skin color? Or ... maybe they treat all of their customers the same. Either way this isn't a good credit union to bank with.... they discriminate very openly & in your face. P.s - I'm only 20 years old. I've also tried to get a auto loan, as a first time buyer. I already got approved at a car lot, as well as I had proof of income. I will be closing my account soon. Good luck to anyone that decides to bank here.

      I love the people that work at this bank and the fact that they get to know you personally! The inky thing i would suggest fixing is that i applied for a loan over a month and a half ago and have not heard anything back from them. I called the lady that has been helping me and emailing her and more then not i do not get an answer or a call back. Even if it was to just tell me i dont qualify or i need a co-signer or what it is that i need to do. It's very frustrating when your teeing to get a car you find the car you want and it's give because you can't get any one to call you back to let toy know what's going on. So then i find a cosigner and i emailed her to let her know and still have not heard back. It would be nice to know that even if your trying to get approved for a loan that they would be there like they are when you go into the store to be as personable when your not in the store. Also it says that their lobby is open on Saturdays and i even called to double check and was told that they are and when you google them it says their lobby is open 9 to 2 and their drive through its open 9 to 2 but when you show up it says it's closed. If it's going to be closed they need to update their hours on the web and also let the rest of the staff know their not open. I have never applied for a loan that has taken this long to approve.

      I have never felt like a person in any financial institution. Everybody smiles and greets you. The 2 ladies that I have sat down with with (Stephanie and Kerrye) discussing my financial future was awesome. I so very highly recommend Mountain America for peace of mind.

      Rebecca helped me a ton. Because of the moving to a new system, I was locked out of online access. However I got a call from Jackie stating that I had to set up a savings account to keep my credit card, or else they would close my account, block me out entirely and send it to collections. Just so everyone knows reading this review, I have had this credit card for six years and I’ve been using it for four years without a savings account. Just so everyone knows reading this review, I have had this credit card for six years and I’ve been using it for four years without a savings account, Checking account, or anything else of the sort. Jackie was very rude on the phone, she had a disrespectful tone, treating me like some kind of criminal and rule breaker. I was not impressed, and want Jackie to know that she should not treat people like that on the phone especially when they do not know they are doing something that is apparently against protocol. It is not the customers fault that they do not know the rules of the company. It is the company’s fault for letting the customer continue breaking the rules without letting them know. Two stars because Rebecca helped me out, thanks Rebecca!

      One of the awesome services I have experienced from any Bank institution, very friendly personal, willing to answer and explain every single question that I have. My transaction was Approved Right on the Spot in less than 30 Minutes, something that I have never seen at any other Bank....I strongly recommended MOUNTAIN AMERICA CREDIT UNION.

      I have had a bank account with MACU now for years. I lived in Utah but recently moved to Las Vegas. This branch service levels are horrible in comparison to the locations in Utah. The management of this branch should work better with the employees on service levels to be more in line with the companies vision.

      This credit union is so SLOW!!!!! Always long lines , no customer service, they have lines and see people waiting and the tellers just laugh and chat among each other , I switch over to Wells Fargo I get way better service .AVOID GOING HERE IF POSSIBLE
