Steven her coworker same branch also was very helpful. Also, Kyler in the Saratoga Branch super helpful! I’ve had bad experiences with other credit unions/banks but literally NEVER with MACU after 12 years! I was not paid by MACU for this review😂

Stephen Iverson1I've been with MACU for a few years. I can't seem to have a good experience with their app, this location, or my card. Debating closing the account and going else where. The employees here always give me bad info and are very rude. They give rude glares at you showing their frustration that your visit is making them work.

Justin Hambleton5Every time I go into the branch, I have a great experience. I recently activated a myrewards card for my son, and the teller was very pleasant to work with. He explained the options and we decided to go this route rather than getting a pre-paid card. Thanks for asking questions and offering me the best solution. My son is gaining financial experiences, and I'm happy to have MACU guide us along the way.

Kevin Holmes (DHHS)5Connor Foster at the 12600 S branch is, in a word, outstanding. We were able to take care of multiple financial changes in my life in 1.5 hours. This when I had planned on needing several days to manage all of the issues. Chris Middleton, the branch manager, has done an excellent job with training all of his employees, but Connor truly stands out. He had an upbeat attitude, offered multiple alternatives to solve some of my complex issues, and did it all with a smile on his face (behind his mask of course). Connor is an outstanding young man and I heartily recommend him if you have any banking needs.

Taylor Wright2I was satisfied with how things started, but as soon as an obstacle like a request for an appraisal adjustment comes up, I've felt like I've been pushed to the side in the pipeline of loans that my underwriter has since mine has turned from an quick close deal to little hiccup. I applied for a HELOC and my appraisal came in lower than my neighbors home and our home is 1 bed and 1 bath larger. I asked that we request an adjustment on the appraisal and have had basically zero communication since that request. It's been two weeks and I have tried calling and emailing our underwriter every day for the past week for an update, and I can't get a single response. I'm a loan officer for a local lender and am not pleased by the lack of response for the underwriting team at MACU. It's taken a month and a half just to get a HELOC closed. At our company, we can close a full on Conv, FHA, and VA loan in less than 20 days. I need the funds in the next week and have yet to receive a response... Didn't think I'd need 60 days just for a HELOC

Skyler Bluemel1I came in to the 12600 S branch in Riverton to do a balance transfer. I had just done one at a different branch 3 days earlier, and the tellers helped me complete the process. When I told these tellers what I needed, they said they couldn’t help me, and I had to wait for a loan officer. I explained that the other branch did it without a problem (in fact, they pretty much made me work with a teller instead of a loan officer). The tellers at the 12600 S branch said they couldn’t help me because of the current 3% cash back promotion, and to have a seat. My husband works for the help desk at MACU and confirmed they definitely could have, and should have, helped me. Not impressed, Riverton branch tellers.
