  I just wanted to give kudos to Ben, (i believe that's his name) I came in Friday to get 200 in 1 dollar bills. I had a really upsetting experience at another branch in South Jordan and I really wanted to close my account. It was this branch from the start that really made me want to Bank with MACU. Thanks for letting me vent my frustration I felt 100 percent better and assured that I am banking with the best financial institution and branch. Thank you!

  I am SO LATE on sharing my experience… but believe me if I could, I would rate it an 11 out of 10 stars! I walked in SUPER nervous about what was going to happen because I’m an introvert that knows NOTHING about money, so I get taken advantage of, A LOT. I walked in & Tyler was super nice to me & helped me get situated. Kimbor wasn’t set up to see me, in fact you can’t have an appointment with a loan officer (?) made within the 24 hour window(?)… but Kimbor assured me that I was in good hands, sat me down & took AMAZING care of me!! I came in inquiring about 1 single thing & he saw so many other things that he could help me out with & did not hesitate to do so, for example he brought my car loan down, over $100 (knocked $14k off my interest)!! I’m so used to just being ran over when I do things in public because I don’t like to argue & ultimately I don’t know very much, but Kimbor & the rest of the very friendly staff took great care of me that day that I went in & I am so grateful : )))) I HIGHLY recommend this location & it’s people. I’m going back to see Kimbor for some other things that we were working towards. Words can’t explain how grateful I am to have ended up in this location with these people that day.

  Whitney at the Daybreak parkway MACU branch is AMAZING!! So sweet and very patient. She took care of all my concerns and was very sweet. We are besties now 😉. Very positive experience. Ellie is amazing TOO! She took the time to listen to my concerns and also had her manager come up front to help facilitate some solutions. Very happy!

  Went to get an auto loan with my bank. I spoke to a guy named Tyson, he was very helpful and super friendly and went out of his way to help me out with a loan. He also helped me get started on a credit card. I greatly appreciate him as well as the entire staff. You all have been nothing but friendly and genuinely care about the people who bank with you. 10 stars! 👏🏾💪🏽

  After requesting a pre-approval for a home mortgage loan, with a credit score of 820, being promised a response within 10 days (which was already way too long), providing all required documentation, it has now been nearly six weeks with absolutely ZERO contact from the branch office in South Jordan. Despite reaching out to the loan officer, personally, I have yet to hear back. Oddly, the day after I called (the 4th and final time), asking them NOT to run my credit if they had no intention of discussing a loan, they ran my credit and lowered my credit score. Still no contact. I still have excellent credit and was able to obtain an approval in 24 hours from Utah Community Credit Union, just in time to win the home of my dreams, in a fierce flurry of other offers. No thanks to Mountain America. If I wasn’t important enough to receive even a return call as a prospective customer with exceptional credit and a 50% down payment and $30,000.00 to otherwise deposit, I can’t imagine the lack of attention I would receive if you already had my money tied up in your institution.

  I spent a while trying to get a credit card here and I eventually gave up and called the bank. My man Tyson answered and helped me out within minutes. I’ve never left a review before so it’s saying something about him. I also was in there the other day and I believe it was Lindsay that helped me out. She was super patient and helpful!

  I refinanced a loan with this specific branch and its been the worst customer experience I have ever had with a credit union. They financed my truck loan to an old truck I had with them, so when I sent the proof of insurance , its not accepted since the VINS don't match. Now instead of a $500 a month payment its turned into a $900 month payment, its been months and the issue is still not fixed.

  Only the drive through is open on Saturday. This has bit me several times whether needing a notary or needing to close on a loan. The credit union as a whole has been good, but as someone who works long hours all week, it’s incredibly frustrating to not be able to get things done on the weekend when needed.
