  I just bought a house and worked with Mike Rice. This was my first time buying a house and Mike was very helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to give me different options on the mortgage and took the time to explain the differences on each one. He was very patient and knowledgeable in answering all my questions. He met us at our home to handle paperwork which was extremely helpful and he was available to answer any questions we had before, during, and after the process. He was quick to respond and even once sent me an email at 4am while he was on vacation because something had dawned on him that he wanted to share with me.   To whom it may concern, It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Michael Rice, our "mortgage guy." Mike was referred to my wife and me by a Realtor just as we began the home-buying process. Although we went with another Realtor, we decided to stick with Mike to secure and service our mortgage, and we're glad we did. Mike has been nothing but gracious and helpful throughout this process, which, for first-time home-buyers, can be confusing and scary. Mike was able to take our information over the phone, pre-approve us, and provide tailored pre-approval letters throughout the bidding and negotiation phases. After our offer was accepted on our first and only home, Mike took care to guide us through the next steps of the process -- from preparing for Purchase and Sales, to the inspection, to the appraisal, to getting insurance, to getting the needed paperwork submitted when we needed to submit it. Anytime we had a question or concern, Mike was a phone call away and usually had an immediate answer. If not, he got back to us within 12 hours and put our minds at ease. Fast, responsive, flexible, gracious, and good-natured, Mike was there throughout the process -- day and night – to make sure we had what we needed. Even at closing, when my wife and I thought we were done asking loan and tax questions, Mike offered to answer any subsequent questions we'd inevitably have. Sure enough, we had questions weeks and even months later, and Mike was just as reachable, helpful, and gracious as ever. Even now, when we think we've asked him our last question, something comes up and Mike's on hand to explain or resolve it. I highly recommend Mike Rice to anyone looking for a mortgage.   Although it took me 5 years to find my perfect house, Mike was beyond exceptional every step of the way. With pre-approvals to advice before making offers to closing he was the best. If I ever do need to buy another home I will definitely seek Mike's help again!
