  First off the customer service is horrible. I waited in line to sell an old guitar and they only had one guy working with the customers and the rest of the crew wasn't doing anything. The wait was forever cause the worker was having a conversation with a friend that wasn't a customer. The guy that appraised my guitar was a jerk and didn't know what he was talking about. It took him a couple minutes to find the only left handed guitar in a guitar rack of about 10 guitars and acted as if he was an expert guitar appraiser.

  Positive experience. I definitely prefer this location over the Lake St location. I sold a low-end dvd player for $10, a much more reasonable price than Lake was willing to give me ($5). The only setbacks were the wait time (though in my experience it was a universally average wait time for a major pawn shop) and the employee who worked with me. I should note that he wasn't rude at all, but did seem to be a bit "out of it". Overall I definitely recommend this MaxIt.

  Great people willing to work with the Client budget , something that paw America and other paw shops stop doing with the costumers this location in Minneapolis is the best place to buy and sale your stuff, thanks you for the good service, great experience and understanding .   Owners... why aren’t you picking up all the trash Outside your looted / burned building!!? Why is there no gate up protecting what’s left of the building!? People are going inside STILL!!? It’s unsafe.. it’s trashy!! I know your probably waiting in insurance $$ but the property is a EYE sore!! No excuse for not attending the property!!!

  Service totally sucks. And the employees are stuck up and with a hint of disrespectful. I also observed the two lady workers bad talking a customer. Who tf does that. I can promise you I will never ever come back to this place ever. These people will literally bring out the worst in good people.. It's sad because they have some pretty good stuff. I don't recommend it. But that's just MY opinion.

  Wow. Waited 35 minutes to get 2 speakers tested. Then I'm told I have to go to another line to pawn. Another 35 minutes waiting and they offer me $40 For both Yamaha NS5 speakers and a kitchenaid Artisan mixer with all attachments and manuals.

  Worst pawn shop I've ever been to. Rude employees, slow as can be, not to mention what a rip off they are. If you're looking to sell something in hopes of getting some decent cash, steer clear of this place.

  I purchased a laptop (199) about a week ago and bought their warranty for 16.00 extra dollars, in case there were any issues with it within 30 days i could return it. I purchased this solely to write essay papers for school, i didn't even hook up internet on it. It would lag and freeze up on me just by using word. When i brought it in today to return it, they would do a return but only for store credit. I was dealing with "Chris" the "manager" of the store who didnt seem to give two shits. We would happily have accepted store credit if we could use that credit to get our iPad on loan out but they wouldn't allow that either. He told me he could buy back our laptop for 80.00 and that was all he could do. Its complete bullshit. This pawn store will have now bought this laptop back 3 times, and will do it again when the next person buys it for their 100.00 mark up. What a scam. Will get my iPad out and will never return. Dissapointed with the way Manager Chris handled himself. He told us his business hasn't made any profit in the last three months. I'm just going to assume the reason for that is because you rip people off. Good luck in your future, i hope you figure things out and seriously revise your return policy because its bullshit.

  Much better than Pawn America. I got 25 more dollars at Maxit vs the other place when I went in to get a loan on some miscellaneous items. I walked out with a smile. The people I have dealt with seem willing to work with me. Thanks for not making me feel like a schmuck when I was there.

  I hate to even give them one star. My husband found something he wanted to purchase, but all 4 employees at the back counter only seem to be interested in taking in pawns instead of selling anything. After a while we left without ever being spoken to.
