  Greg Matters was the best part about the home buying experience. Buying a home is stressful and I have gone through this process before only to fail before closing. Greg made every step extremely easy for me. Furthermore, he had a very calming presence that eased stressful situations. He stayed up late many nights trying to crunch numbers, he always had my best interest, and I wasn’t surprised with anything because he took the time to prep. The whole process was more like working with a trusted family member. In fact, the seller’s agent asked my realtor if Greg was related to me because he took so much time with my case. I highly recommend using Matters Mortgage.

  Mr. Matters gave me good advice to raise my credit score and was very patient when we ran into problems. He helped me with my computer skills to submit things online. Almost everything was done online. I did not even meet him until closing.

  So pleased that I came across Matters Mortgage for my Dad's VA loan. Greg was a pleasure to work with. He made a challenging situation easier to achieve the best outcome for my parents. I doubt it would have gone so smoothly with a "normal" banking lender. There were some glitches along the way, but they were addressed in a professional & speedy manner.   Matters Mortgage got me the best interest rate and start to finish I was in my new home in under 30 days. Excellent communication, I talked to Greg almost everyday. I always knew exactly where we were in the loan process. He always answered the phone or returned my calls immediately. He has 30 years in the business and his experience shows. Greg called me 6 months later and is now refinancing my FHA to conventional and saving me another $70 a month! He is the ONLY mortgage broker I will ever use and recommend Matters Mortgage to everyone!
