  ***Update*** Shortly after posting my review, I was contacted by Brian G. at Marlin. He was accommodating and responsive in getting my account closed out. I liked that he was knowledgeable of my account before reaching out and explained the steps they were taking to correct those issues in the future. Only time will tell if those corrections will pan out, but Brian did make a bad experience into a good one. ***Original Review*** During the lease, the experience is sufficient but ending the lease is an absolute nightmare. We followed the lease to the letter on the process to end the contract and prevent the month to month continuation. Despite being provided receipts of certified mail, read receipts from emails, and fax confirmations, they still stated they never received our notice to terminate the contract and wouldn't honor the original notice date. They chose not to honor our original request, resulting in an additional four months' worth of payments! Once they finally acknowledged our request to end the contract, we mailed the paperwork and final payment to the address THEY provided. We also emailed and faxed the paperwork (they told us to do this) to speed the process up. We're well over a month since this paperwork was sent, and they are stating that they still haven't received it. Once again, this is despite being provided confirmations of the documents being received. I'm now told I need to fill out a one time ACH form for the final payment, and if my paper check is found, they'll issue a refund, or I can put a stop payment on it. If you aren't making a payment, good luck! This place is completely disorganized, and you never get the same answer twice. The customer always seems to be wrong here, even when you have proof in black and white.

  This Bank is one of the most professional bank's I have ever worked with. My rep. Sharon Savitz has been nothing less then a 5 star but should have even more for her! She has always gone out of her way to keep our account on track, and helpful with any questions me and my staff have. I hope she never leaves Marlin Bank and only imagen how many clients they would loose if she left. Thank you so much for everything! If you are a business and need financing this is the only bank you need Period!

  I have been working with marlin on 2 business loans. I will say i was very happy with the service. Sharon Savitz was my account rep, She has helped me so much when my business was stuggling due to covid and i cant be more happy that she was there for me and my transportation company. I have finally paid off my loans but if there is anything i will be purchasing in the future i will try and get a loan though marlin again! Thank you Kate - Azov Transport Inc

  I've used Marlin for several lease and working capital loans with several companies. Prior to Covid they were very responsive and always great to work with. Post Covid its like an entirley different company. I've sat on hold for hours (seriously!) to discuss payoffs for accounts and never able to speak to anyone. I've sent emais....never hear back. I would have thought with the amount of equipment we've worked with them on they'd be at least somewhat responsive. My previous rep was great and always easy to get in touch with...but apparently no longer with Marlin....big loss
